⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ It's been so nice to have them here even if it bothers him. Even if it bothers him greatly that they've found their way back into this world, they're here now and there's not much he can do about it and he would rather keep them in eye sight than try to push them away. They at least get to meet his family now. That's a positive isn't it?

So he's closing the book in his hands after marking his place so he can set it to the side. He's rolling over in his loft as he brings himself to float down to the floor so he can get the door. Holding it open for them with a smile on his face.

°✩₊ 𖤓 ₊✩° The ground had given way under his weight and the next thing he knew he was falling down the side of a mountain. Ed couldn't come after him, it would have got him killed. Ed was going to come after him but he'd yelled at him not to. He never hit the ground.

Something happened and he felt himself get thrown through what felt like the portal of truth only to get spat out on what felt like the other side of this backwards place. So if he was lost before then he doesn't even know what to describe himself as now.

He's lost track of time with how long he's been wandering and it's another one of those times that despite his inability to feel anything psychically, his mind has been teetering the edge of sanity for a while now.

Not having to sleep or eat has come in handy and towns have been a completely different trip of their own. He's seen the ground change drastically more times than he cares to think about and there is a part of him in the back of his mind that wonders if the ever really did come out of the portal or if this place is really just the end of everything and it's truth's way of playing some kind of sick joke on them.

He has heard people (of all sorts of faces and species) call this place Wonderland and there is no way he got trapped in a book.

Is there?

He's a suit of armor so how could getting trapped in a book be any more weird. There's really not much that he would rule out of the realm of possibilities these days.

He just hopes that Ed is okay and that he's someplace safe. He can deal with his upside down place as long as he knows his brother is okay. Hopefully he's with at least someone who can help him out a little.

They'll find each other eventually - won't they?

Yu has come with a curious question and he has him frozen for a minute because of all the people in the world to lie to, he certainly doesn't want to be the boy.

So he sighs, drops his shoulders and his eyes look down at him with up turned brows.

"Not as often as I would like to. The opportunities do not present themselves to me as often as I would like and when they do I - struggle with putting myself first. So I don't say yes to things that I would like to, nearly as much as I would like to be able to."

He's sighing again as a hand raises to set down on the top of brown hair to give the boy a bit of a soft scrub for the moment.

The kids have arrived with gifts for their cloudy friend! Ai brought him a few different flavors of mochi, and Yu brought him sushi that he attempted to roll himself. Not the prettiest, but he did try.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ He should have known they wouldn't forget and they are bringing him human treats that he can't say he's tried yet. One smells sweet and the other smells of fish. It looks like a similar dish they had back home and he's eager to try it. The small wiggly looking colored orbs though, he doesn't now what to make of but he's popping one into his mouth all the same.

His eyes light up at the taste of it.

"Ooh thank you Ai, these are quite good. What are they called?" He sounds with a grin on his lips, turning to take a piece of the offered treat from the other twin and pop it into his mouth as well.

A contented purr leaves him for a moment as he helps himself to another.

"Oh Yu, these are lovely. Did you make them? They are wonderful. Thank you both so very much."
