ok so I was eating triscuit crackers in theology and I was about to have to read to the whole class and the cracker went up (yes up) into my nose and juts sat there and I could feel it and I was panicking and I didn’t know what to do because my teacher told us not choke and here I am choking before I had to read the Bible to everyone.
so yeah that’s my riveting story for the day. thank you.

I’m tired. And I got distracted and didn’t realize that my photos actually uploaded for once. And here I was to busy making and packing outfits for going to see Jess this weekend. Today was good and long and also stressful. I actually woke up at 7! I did it! And I felt good. Until I realjdd my fridge had,gotten left,open all night and it was warm inside?? Upsetting. But being up early was nice. I could sort of just lay around. Go through Tumblr. Got washed. Did my makeup. Laid around a bit longer. Got dressed. Felt real cute. My hair looked great. It’s humid still but I’m getting used to it. Skin and hair wise. I had some toast and watched tv. I was supposed to be at my new job at 10. So I had to leave around 915 to catch the bus. I left and followed Google. Which made me go through an alley. And then I couldn’t find the stop. I walked up and down the street. I was overheated and upset and my thighs hurt. I asked a woman and she said to go up a few blocks. Which was annoying to me because when I originally left the house I thought that’s where I was supposed to be. And then the bus was late. Ugh. So I was stressed. I emailed my new boss Gary and let him know I would be about a half hour late because I got lost. Finally the bus showed up. But then my card didn’t work?? Like it has to activate and the reader is supposed to do that and it isn’t doing it?? So I asked if I should put change in and the driver said to just sit down. Stresssss. I have to figure that out asap. I had a really nice ride though. The windows open next to the seats so I got a nice breeze and cooled down. Then I got confused and got off the bus a stop to early. But it was just a block so it’s okay. I got to the shop and appologized for being late but he really didn’t seem to care. I mean he said say to be there anytime between 9 and 4. So I was good. I filled out paperwork. I met a bunch of people. Everyone was so nice. I had some questions about the langue of the contract and felt good about the answers. I got some shirts! The smalls fit but I like things to have some more space. So I got a medium and a large tshirt and will get a button up and polo later. I also get an apron! Im excited about the apron. The t-shirts are cool to though they are black and just say ART. Nice. I got to meet the other people in the art studio. Mike and Niki. And Laura who is my direct manager. She seems very familiar to me. I’m excited to work with her. But she really wants me to be their photoshop person. And I’m so nervous. I mean you saw my blown out panada. I’m working on it. To be fair I put like 75 filters and messed with all the levels but like I said I’m working on it. I headed out not long after we set up how my first day on Monday will go. I’m excited. I would have started tomorrow but I need to get a bunch of stuff handled before I can start. Drug tests, dmv, a volunteering interview. Just a lot. But it’s good it’ll give me time to practice my photoshop skills. I had to wait a while for the bus. And then when it came the card reader was broken so the driver just had us all flash our cards at him. Baltimore you have to be losing a ton of money?? How is this happening on like every bus?? I got back to my neighborhood and walked to the rite aid. Got some drinks. Found some amazing glitter for me and Jess’s costumes. Headed home. I had lunch. And cooled off. And then I spent like the entire afternoon watching tutorials. And eventually figuring out how to get a free trial of Photoshop for the week. And waited forever for that to update. Then played around. I’m going to try to do that a little every day since I do only have a bit until I start. But I will keep practicing. A lot came back to me though and the videos I watched like blew my mind with a couple things. I feel less scared but still. That panda is baby’s first edit for sure. My causebox came! I got confused when the mailman came. He said something that I just didn’t understand but it turned out that I had to pay for postage because my package got bounced around? Unclear. I’m just glad it made it to me in one piece. It had some great stuff in it! Magnets! A pretty frame! Spoons! A cool necklace. Some other stuff. Another gift card. Which I don’t like because you always have to spend something to use it. So it’s more like a coupon. But I did get 2 beautiful pieces of jewelery: a necklace and a pair of hoops. And I mostly have costume jewlery so it’ll be nice to have something a little special. I am still working on erradicaiting the fruit flies in my kitchen. They are mostly near the window and sink. So I’m focusing on keeping the traps there. Im going to buy some bleach for the sink and just keep cleaning. Hate fruit flies. I spent some time doing Barre work. I love my banister in my living room for that So much. It’s amazing. I put on some music and danced and stretched and felt good. Once I got all gross I went and took a bath. It was nice just cooling down. Then I worked on picking outfits and getting ready for bed. Which is what I’m going to do now. Tomorrow I have that interview for volunteering at the Walter. Which I’m hoping will be something I can do on Sundays. And maybe Thursdays after work. Well see. I would like to work with the pieces and conservation but because I’m going to have an actual job I’m not sure. This might not work out at all. But that’s okay. I’m also going to try to get to the dmv tomorrow too. Get a new license. For baltimore. I hope I can make that happen. I hope you all sleep well tonight. Be safe.

I'm really tired. I couldn’t fall asleep last night. I was up past 2 and woke up a few times and it was just not fun. But today was still a good day.
I woke up around 830 and reset my alarm for 930. But I didn’t stay in bed that long. I got a message from a guy on tinder and gave him my number but he’s being weird already. But whatever. I got up and dressed and my makeup looked awesome. Got that wing in one swipe and it was awesome.
I wanted to be at the studio by 10. I had to meet with Joel and photograph some pieces and then I had my interview. I started with the photographs. I set up my shelf and tried to light it as best as I could. Heather came over to chat with me. And then Michaela. I like how much people have been around me lately. Its been really nice. Michaela took some pictures of me working. I am very pleased with the photos and hope they look good in my applications.
I wanted to deinstall everything but Michaeala had a studio visit in the gallery so I didn’t want to make a bunch of noise. So I went and set up my mouse trap and tried to start figuring out how to use the lights mom sent me. Joel came and found me and we discussed how our progress is going. We are both in the stage area, me on the stage, him below it. So he wanted to see if we were going to conflict or anything but its all good and we both are happy. We highfived so you know its good.
At noon I headed over to main campus. I got Don to help me drill some holes in the plastic container I got for my thesis mouse. I was worried it would shatter but it was rubbery enough for air holes. I also cut all the wood for the cake stand structure so we can finish it tomorrow. I didn’t have enough time to put it together today though.
I headed to the library for a little to try to edit my photos but after I chose the ones I liked best I tried to open gimp but I crashed everything trying to open to many files at once. By the time I got everything back up and running it was almost time for my interview.
I ran to the bathroom to fix my hair and headed to the office.
It was nice to see Andrew, he’s a sweet guy. We went over to the library to talk. He said he was glad I applied again that they loved having me last year. I was excited and tried to express that as best I could. They changed up the ages to be a little older so I said I would be fine wherever they need me, that I prefer mornings, and that while I might need a second job this would be my priority. I also let him know that if there are other places they could stick me as a TA I would love that so I wouldn’t need to find a second location. He seemed open to that but I wont know for a few weeks. It seems pretty solid that I have the part time at least, and we got a pay increase from last year so that neat.
I headed out after that. Andy was coming in as I was getting my bike and he laughed at me and said that he is convinced I only bike inbetween places anymore because it’s the only time he sees me. literally all week that’s the only time he has seen me. Its really silly.
I got back to the studio and finished taking down my shelf and filling the holes from the scews. I went to chat with Aaron in the basement and then Sam and Michaela and Jacob came to my studio. It was fun to complain about stuff with them. Sam stayed the longest and I told her some problems I've been having and it was nice to just get it off my chest. She offered to try to catch her apartment mouse too since we think that the poison is going to kill the ones I might catch at the studio. Which is nice of her.
Around 3 I went and finished painting the holes I patched. And then I went home.
My causebox came! I don’t love it as much as I loved the winter one but its also a good one! A very pretty home/linen spray, a print, a hanging banner with a positive message, a snack bar??, a very pretty ceramic cup, a gift card that I used to buy a vest (this one I didn’t like, I like the vest but I don’t like being forced to use it at what is essentially a prissy high priced thrift store), and the last thing that I'm going to give as a gift because I think they will like it and use it more then I will.
I decided to order a pizza so I did that and it came very quickly. It was really good and I packaged up the leftovers for meals in the next days. I headed over to family dollar for kitty litter and chaco tacos. And now I'm home. I'm really beat. Tomorrow I'm going to finish my structure and work on my defense presentation. I started it today but not in earnest. Tomorrow I'm going to really hit it. I'm really going to try to go to bed early tonight though. wish me luck because my allergies are making it hard to breathe and my downstairs neighbors are being really loud. Like loud enough that I sent an email to my rental office to make a complaint and I hate doing that kind of thing.
