SUPER TYPHOON -- a poem and song by Bill Kochman
#Poetry #Poem SUPER TYPHOON by Bill Kochman 04-18-2026 From the south that monster arose, It's typhoon season everyone knows, Better prepare to ride out the storm, Quick gather supplies, it's our norm. Hunker down, that monster arrives, For it is the wise one who survives. Hark! She blows! Oh mighty beast, Danger coming from our southeast. Just like demons the winds do howl, So gripped by her eye we are now. For hours her fierce wrath we felt, Some people prayed, on knees knelt. She pounded us hard from the back, Oh it was such a great sneak attack. Winds rose to 180, and gusts to 220, No doubt damage will be very plenty. Hours passed yet she wouldn't let go, Mockingly she advanced ever so slow. Ominous dark clouds reign overhead, The power is out, everything's dead. Doors are shaking and windows bend, Oh dear Lord above, is this my end? So many of these storms come and go, It's nature's wrath blow after blow. Even though strong winds are blowing, Some crazy roosters keep on crowing. The sun peeps out and gives us hope, It inspires strength so we can cope. Then at last the winds begin to recede, My big air-con is what I really need. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, Having no power so gives me the blues. The floors are flooded, it's time to mop, When will the torrential rain ever stop? My candles are lit, they give me light, A source of comfort throughout the night. The clouds slowly fade, winds grow still, The mosquitoes now will have their fill. Hell on earth those vile pests are to me, Why won't they just let this old man be. For many days the power has now been out, But it's really no use to scream or shout. The help we all need is nowhere in sight, It will be another hot, sleepless night. So everyone the waiting game now plays, Just wondering for how many more days. All cell phones die, the Internet is dead, Will I soon go totally crazy in my head? In the fridge the milk has now gone bad, The cheese will follow, it makes me sad. As for the meat, it already bit the dust, Canned goods are safe, better to trust. Then signs appear, life is coming back, As everyone gets their lives on track. So many police sirens are now blaring, The traffic lights need major repairing. Everywhere loud buzz saws are roaring, As island folks keep so busy restoring. Radios are now blaring here and there, As charcoal fluid permeates island air. It is now time for barbecues islandwide, Because we take such storms with stride. We've be through it so many times before, Living on Guam will make you hardcore. Our neighbors are chatting face-to-face, Oh Lord once again You gave us Your grace. With patience we have survived once again, As for the next one, we just know not when.
Fully fucking entranced by Hudson's hands in that fully fucking naked gifset dude. That little one two grab and wiggle he does on Connor's waist holy fucking shit how have I never noticed 🤭🤭🤭
fully fucking entranced by the fully fucking naked!!!! beaming with delight!!!!! acting like he hasn't seen connor (fully fucking) naked more hours than possibly any other human being. like he didn't touch connor's (fully fucking) naked body and arrange his own (fully fucking naked) body artfully around it for a month straight every day 9-5PM. acting like connor's (fully fucking naked) thighs didn't slap into his own (fully fucking naked) thighs and connor's government sponsored (nearly fucking naked) cock didn't give huddy the (nearly fucking naked) CBT ride of his life.
and now!!! big hud has the AUDACITY to play giggle games with connie in front of the paps and follow connor's blue steel chin directions and then take the first private opportunity to grab onto connie's familiar waist and squeeze him and wiggle around in delight like we all long to. like we all crave to. like we all salivate and sonnet to. like connie only lets huddy do.
the night this dropped i watched it on repeat for like. 30 minutes. it was insane. i can't talk about it anymore goodbYE

A Category 5 cyclone is about to hit northeastern Australia, one of the strongest on record for the region

Cyclone Narelle has intensified into a Category 5 system, bringing wind gusts of up to 315 km/h. This makes Narelle one of the strongest storms in recent history to approach Queensland’s coastline, according to Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
If it makes landfall at its current intensity, Narelle will be only the fourth Category 5 cyclone to hit the Queensland coast in the past 50 years.

The forecast shows that the storm's path differs from those typically observed during the Atlantic hurricane season. Similar to Atlantic hurricanes, Australian cyclones are influenced by global air circulation patterns. However, unlike the Northern Hemisphere, where storms generally track northeastward, cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere move in the opposite direction: Southwest.
This is also why we often see cyclones that form in the Indian Ocean curve into Western Australia.
Narelle forecast to make landfall Friday
Narelle is expected to make landfall between Lockhart River and Cape Melville on Friday as a Category 5 system.
"Narelle will then continue to move west across the Gulf of Carpentaria, and is forecast to strengthen again to a severe tropical cyclone before impacting the eastern Northern Territory from late Saturday," says the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.

"VERY DESTRUCTIVE WIND GUSTS in excess of 250 km/h are possible near the centre of Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle as it crosses the Cape York Peninsula coast on Friday morning. VERY DESTRUCTIVE WIND GUSTS will persist about the centre of Narelle for some distance inland," the bureau warned on Thursday.
Heavy rainfall, with the potential to cause flash flooding, is expected Friday between Cape Melville and Cape Tribulation, extending northward and into inland areas west of Coen. Locally intense rainfall is likely within a region of the peninsula bounded by Lockhart River, Cape Flattery, Pormpuraaw, and Weipa.
Rare, triple landfall possible
Long-range models are still uncertain about Narelle's storm track beyond the weekend, but it is possible we could see the storm make a rare, third landfall over Western Australia.
I DON'T! WANNA HEAR! THAT HUDSON SAID I MISSED YOU WHILE HE NUZZLED HIS WAY INTO THE CROOK OF CONNOR'S NECK. I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'LL BREAKFAST ALL OVER YOUR TIFFANYS WHAT WHAT WHAT FUCK FUCK FUCK !!!
