We love Pesto but she loves to drool in very inconvenient places! She’s the cutest cat but she loves to make a cute ol’ mess!

i am so serious about the suicide. It is one of the main themes here tho it is more heavily implied. I dont plan to show anything graphic. I dont even plan to show character dying of suicide. Think more of the poem "View from halfway down" from Bojack Horseman and less "13 reasons why"

Other triggers include:

-Mild derealization

-Aphobia (bigotry against aro/ace people, tho it is mostly internalized in the comic)

-transphobia ("Sysi how do u add transphobia if no-one has gender?" I have my ways. Some characters are trans coded and one of their parents thinks that this is some nonsense and you should actually WORK)

-ableism (mostly internalized stuff about autism/adhd/alexithymia/lack of empathy)

-Alcoholism

-Some WEIRD FUCKING SHIT. Think of like. No im not human and how weird those characters are. Its close to that

Some info about the comic!

-Kaikuu is a slice of life + horror comic

-No cat has gender! Everyones gender is a cat and everyone uses it/its pronouns (i still need some practice using it/its in english so I might slip time to time)

-No cat has canon colors, if you want to draw them with color you can do whatever you want

-English isnt my first language! I can and will fuck up! Your language is weird!

-My name is Sysi, I am from Finland and my pronouns are they/them! My main blog is @sysiheart and my other comic is @jumalanpelko

Names translated:

-Turska = Cod

-Kedokki = A play with the word Keto (field)

-Varpu = Briar

-Unikko = Poppy

-Muusa = Muse

-Ujo = Shy

-Ulappa = Open sea

-Ruotola = Ruoto = fishbone. The "la" makes it a typical name for a place or town ect. So it translates to something like "Fishbone town" or "Fishbone island"

It was supposed to be a prologue of sorts, I was still experimenting with the style of the whole thing, but ultimately dropped the idea after some time, though it did help me figure out what I wanted to do with the story.
