my new cat-bee oc :) his name is sunshine (experiment #88) and he's not a playtime co. experiment, but rather is the experiment/"pet" of another oc of mine (who is a fan character if you squint. playtime co. is mentioned in their lore more than once), they just got the cat-bee toy second-hand because their lore takes place way after THOJ

I wish I could apologize to the toys. I also had a mini breakdown when playing chapter five during the Huggy memory scenes. Fear. Denial. Rage. Rage. Rage. Rage. I hope Lovebraids is dead. I didn't want to hurt the toys. I wanted to hide in the corner. But all I could do IS BRING THEM TO THE BAD TOY BOX. At least CatBee seems fine.. I want to be a CatBee. Maybe not a dead one, just a hiding one. Scared, yes. But I wouldn't have to deal with the player, hopefully. The Doctor could be a nuisance if I'm on his bad side. Stay away from Ollie. I wish I could hug Preston. I'm so sorry.

Was suggested PJ Pugapillar for the next redesign, and decided to throw in Catbee! As much as I like these two, thereβs barely anything about the βSwapimalsβ as theyβre called and I think thatβs a shame. Hell apparently theyβre just based off The Wuzzles, which is cool but I assumed Swapimals meant that they had interchangeable parts.
..so I played around with the concept and did just that! Now instead of having no unique traits, PJ and CatBee have a new way to stand out! You know those little fuzzy patches on the hands of those little monkey dolls? Itβs sort of like that, allowing a kid to take apart their beloved Swapimals and mix-and-match with them!
While The Swapimals toy line was popular around the Early 80βs, it ultimately fell flat before anymore additions could be made to its cast. Little guys like BunnyBeetle and TigerRantula were scrapped due to the lack of success, leaving PuppyPillar and KittyBee the only surviving members of their short lived Family. Rumors were spread that Playtime Co. planned a whole show for the Swapimals, but the lines abrupt cancellation led to it being scrapped as well.
Bigger Body Experiments with the scrapped BunnyBeetle and TigerRantula were planned for the Initiative, The Hour of Joy occurred before they could be implemented.
