so far i've only seen them in locations that i've previously cleared, and weirdly they don't seem to ever be at my lil base area (i've been using that ranch as a crash spot for now)

and i talked to one of them just to show yall the dialogue that you get. first off, they all start off with the whole "drop your weapon" whatever and you have to be like "relax i'm not going to hurt you" before you can even talk to them. and they all say this same thing of "i'm a real and normal NP....person" so that's WEIRD

they don't trade items or offer any jobs ever. and occasionally you can get them to be a follower but as i previously mentioned, they will disappear in the morning.

and you may be wondering: "what happens if they don't calm down and become hostile instead?"

they follow you around talking shit and hitting you for 0 damage...

you can't actually make them stop. if you try to hit them back you miss A LOT even if you wouldn't normally, and then if you actually do manage to hit them, you do 0 damage and they just disappear like hallucinations! the only other way is to just to go through a door, because they lose sight of you super easy and will stop following you.

oh look sus npc man dropped his gun (after smacking me with it for 0 damage) i wonder if it will remain when he disappears...
