So if Cataclysm is a Grimwalker that retained all memories, how much strain does that put on interactions with Hunter?
Oh, I kept floundering on that, didnt I......and a pretty recent post says Cataclysm had memories, huh!!! Well, despite that, in my brainscape at the moment I prefer the idea of Grimwalker Caty having no real memories, and only learning about the original Cataclysm secondhand. They would still choose to identify as The Cataclysm though.
Anyways, hmm. Ive never thought much about the end of Grimwalker Caty's arc (the only point at which she'd really have the chance TO meet Hunter), but even with the time travel stuff involved (duplicate image for length) --
-- I think Caty's arc would need to end with her accepting that she is her own person and not a continuation of someone else who must or is destined to abide by their old self. Caty would naturally resist this which WOULD create a very interesting foil to Hunter, who is trying desperately to prove he's his own person and being stopped against his will.
As dark as it sounds to go from a time when Belos is defeated/almost defeated back to the beginning of his rise to power... I think I'd like Caty to go back to the time they were created in (Belos' crusading era). A lot of what I want to say thematically with my other Caleb-based Grimwalker OCs is about how no kindness is ever truly futile, and no life is meaningless, and this would apply to Caty too. That would all be a part pf accepting her mortality and the fact that she will never be a Collecter.
Anywyas. Boy this gives me a lot of ideas I never thought about, I just made most of that up as I went along. Thanks! Sorry it only sorr of answers your question. I hope to answer your question a little better in the future, as I rotate this in my mind...
