Bonjour everyone! That is me, Mathyld. Linnéa @stormvild took this photo of me the last time she visited us in Paris, many moons ago. I miss having friends over at #CastelPyramids... I rarely share photos of - or anything about - myself, really (as you can tell, I am clearly uncomfortable having my picture taken, here 🙈)... But I thought it was time to introduce myself to the new followers. My name is Mathyld. I am half French, half French-Canadian (part native - Abenaki, Mi’Kmaq, Montagnais / Innu and Maliseet). I grew up in a village in Provence, South of France but have been living in Paris for over 25 years. I am the sole person behind everything #underthepyramids: ⚘ I design and craft each jewel as well as the magick ingredients in the shop ⚘ I hand-write the "thank-you" cards, wrap the jewels and pack the orders ⚘ Go to the Post-Office And if I could deliver each piece myself, believe me, I would! Because shipping is definitely *the* most stressful part of the whole ordeal ⚘ Write and answer all the e-mails ⚘ Take all the product photos (I take at least one for every single piece I craft) ⚘ But I also created and take care of the website You know what it is ; one-witch business / freelance artisan... And I am *so* grateful for all of you. I adore my work and even though I almost always work overtime and some other times are pretty hard, I am incredibly happy and truly grateful doing so.
