I’m almost done with season 6 of riverdale and so far the experience has just been me looking up “who was the harlot of babylon in the bible” and then opening a new tab and reading the wikipedia page titled “the history of union busting in the united states” and then opening another tab and searching “is that actually how hecate is pronounced” and then looking up how many fanfics on ao3 feature Dr Curdle Jr (it’s only eleven. i’m disappointed. he deserves to hang with the gang) and then looking up if lili reinhart has won any awards and then trying to look up if cole sprouse, camila mendes, casey cott, and drew ray tanner were being held at gunpoint or in some kind of hostage situation that required them to continue the show and then listening to a single song by kj apa and then immediately listening to “the plagues” from the prince of egypt soundtrack to cleanse my palette and then wondering where reggie went for the last few episodes and then having to reread the wiki because i couldn’t remember if sweetpea died (no he just went on tour with josie and the pussycats) and then looking up if i already knew that tabitha tate and toni topaz had older siblings because they didn’t drop dead with the rest of the oldest siblings and then trying to go to sleep. but i’m haunted by the image of percival pickens in jughead’s beanie and the inexplicably horrible haircut they gave heather’s actress, so i can’t sleep.
