Im glad you liked it.. I really did have something else in mind closer to the prompt, however that week was a nightmare for me, time wise and i really dont think i could have gotten it done even if i did, so here is  the plot of the thing i came up with first its a shame because it was shagginans incarnate

 Wash brings up the subject of getting married, and tucker says he can’t do that cause family is super important to the  sangheili, and any one marrying Tucker joins Juniors family line and would be a huge power move, so the way have been avoiding having to fend off people’s attempts get in power is to say Tucker is in morning over Cruchbite. And since most of the sangheili fucking LOVED Crunchbite for being their ‘chosen one’. So instead of getting married Tucker talks Wash into just going to meet junior.

 So Tucker, Wash and Palomo all go to Sanghelios  Tucker and Wash go for personal reason while Kimball sent Palomo to be the ambassador for Chorus interests,  So they get to Sangillio’s and they are separated  cause ‘heathens are forbidden to go onto the holy land junior lives.’

So after a  week they meet up with Tucker who ducked out of the ‘holy land’ Tucker wants to get very drunk cause staying with Chrunchibte's family is working his last nerve so he talks Wash into drinking with him and they get plastered, but it turns out Palomo set up this big dinner with out telling Wash and Tucker didn't know cause he ducked out, So they both show up stupid Drunk and Wash blurts out that he wants to marry Tucker and ‘he’d do anything to prove he was worthy of Tucker’

 However the aliens are riding high on finding Santa, and all the new tech, and since they Like Junior a lot. And every one in the room is a are people they trust around Junior, They agree that since Wash is human, he could never have really have any power among them so they don’t care.

So Junior fallowing the courting tradition he tell’s Wash complete a thousand challenges to prove he is worthy then he can will allow it. Only it’s a tradition for the among the Sangheili that no one can every prove they are worthy cause no else can decide that some one else is worthy in matters of love, so after a token challenge they take it back. Only Wash dosen’t take it back, much to the amusement of all the Alien’s he keeps going. And going, and Palomo every step of the way makes Wash’s challenges harder, and harder and Tucker keeps saying that  Wash need to take it back, but Wash is stubborn and as all hell, and is determined to prove himself worthy and wont listen to Tucker.

And it keeps going and going till the sangheili run out around 300, because no one was ever that much of and stubborn idiot before,  but Wash insist they keep going so finally Tucker comes up with a challenge, that he knows Wash will back down from. Just to end it this farce before Wash kills himself. they have a big heart to heart about being stubborn and sarcastic with one another.

They get the blessing, and are told to take Palomo back with them.
