i can’t believe i’ve managed to go this long without an obligatory sick fic post, but here it is!!!

Q gets sick just as Bond’s about to be shipped to Islamabad. Bond just wants Q to get better (and possibly fall for him).

(Or, the one where Bond decides that the perfect moment to woo Q is when he’s home sick.)

When Q wakes up in the grips of a fever, he is surprised to find James by his bedside.

 He can feel it again, the gun pressed to his temple, the clash that arose within him: the cold drip of resignation versus the burning desire to fight.

 He does now what he couldn’t do then: he calls Q.

After barely surviving his latest mission, James seeks out Q.
