Title: Business Dinner

To let their friends know of their relationship. Thomas and Alexander decide to host a âbusinessâ dinner. So they can discuss âbusinessâ but also have referees and supporters. So they invited John, Hercules, Lafayette, James, Aaron, and George.
When the dinner comes around, all is going well as they pretend to discuss business.
That is until Thomas and Alexander are in the kitchen with a argument on the brink. Everyone is watching from the table with their drinks on the table.
âThomas you forgot to rinse this dish, and this one, oh look at that all of them!â Alex starts putting all the dishes in the dishwasher back onto the counter to be rinsed.
âI refuse to do work the machine will do for me.â Thomas stands at the sink but doesnât rinse the dishes.
âLook theyâll be even better and cleaner if we rinse them!â Alexander starts rinsing the dishes.
Thomas doesnât say anything. But he starts putting the dishes that havenât been rinsed into the dishwasher.
âThomas stop that!â Alex shouts. Thomas sticks his tongue out at Hamilton.
âItâs faster and better if we just stick them in there!â Thomas then said.
Alexander sighs. âYou donât learn do you!â
Aaron and George are about to step in. George was going to talk to Thomas and Aaron to Alexander. But as theyâre leaning against the counter they are surprised to hear.
âYou know we act, love, and fight like a married couple. So will you marry me?â Thomas asks, then proceeds to get on one of his knees and shows a ring.
âWhat kind of question is that? Of course I will!â Alexander responds, and Thomas places the ring on Alexâs ring finger.
They look at their friends faces not close enough to notice some of their faces dropped but quickly regained composure. âTa da!!!!â Alexander and Thomas say in unison.
âWell congratulations!â Washington is the first to break the silence.
They all migrate to the living room. Then Laurens, Burr, and Lafayette pull out their wallets and hand some money to Washington, Mulligan, and Madison.
Alexander smirks. âWhat were you guys betting on?â
âWell we thought you Alex would propose,â John says
âAnd we said that Thomas would.â Madison said while sitting down. They all start laughing as Thomas and Alexander look at each other confused.
Alexander then says after the laughter dies down. âSeriously Tommy you rinse the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher,â
âIt doesnât make sense Al,â Thomas says before he connects their lips.
âOh get a room!â Several people shout.
When they part Alexander retorts âHereâs an idea get out of our house!â
Some chuckle but Hercules is confused âWait how long have you guys been together?
Thomas and Alexander look at each other. As if telepathically conversing. "A year and a half,â Thomas responds.
A drink later⌠âWell I have work tomorrow and so do Aaron, Alexander, and Thomas. So donât stay up too late.â Washington then says goodbye and gets his shoes and coat on.
Aaron, Alexander, and Thomas respond with a âOk dad,â No response just a chuckle and a door closing.
A little after that Hercules and Lafayette claimed they have other âbusinessâ to attend to.
Which left to broken hearts, and two happy hearts. Then John and James were ushered out. Because it was getting late.
