in my own humble vehium opinion i firmly believe that car culture, at least in the USA, is already so inherently sexualised and even romanticized that many straight cis men are absolutely objectum and vehium but because this is expected of cis male society anyway they would never call themselves objectum or even be aware of or want to join objectum spaces. this is just what men do, this is expected, many men love their car "maybe even more than their wife"
they may seek out other "carfuckers" on forums or at car shows, the only term they may know may be carfucker, maybe they know objectophile, but otherwise go by carfucker. many cishet men dont consider a split attraction model and being sexual is inherent to romance for them, so it wouldnt matter if carfucker is too sexual a term for their romantic attraction, some may only see it as a kink and some may see it as a genuine love but try to hide it in their outward lives.
i think we need to take into consideration the vast amounts of people who are, by definition, absolutely objectum; who have no idea about or interest in identifying as objectum, their perspectives matter too
