A caution sign objectum flag for @obj3ctophiliac who supported me on ko-fi

he wanted a simple flag, but I liked this enough to make a few complex versions (under the cut)

I found Duchess (carabiner) a magic 8-ball to talk with, the only "small" keychain options for this are still very big, don't have the 8 circle, and don't ship to the US so I found this on Etsy from a vintage seller and painted it (hopefully I'll be able to seal it soon)

when I first opened the box I handed it to my roommate without telling her what it was for, she jokingly started asking it questions

"are you gay?" got "absolutely not"

"do you have a gender?" got "don't count on it (seems like Duchess is agender!)

"are you queer?" got "absolutely!"

and then I asked if she still wanted she/her pronouns and got "you bet!"

this morning I put her on and headed to the bodega, I asked if she wanted anything from the bodega (I know she can't eat, but it felt nice to ask) and got... "you're hot" 😳 didn't know that was an option, her keychain got a compliment by a man in line! The 8-ball is larger compared to her, and it makes me think of her voice and big and loud (her answers are kind of sassy and jokey, she's got a good sense of humour to her)

I'm very happy to finally have a good way to talk to her, i cant "talk" to objects how many POSIC people can and this will help a lot with my morality ocd and not feeling as close to her as I want to be

it's so bittersweet seeing a time capsule of your life in your car. congratulations cards from when i got accepted into college, old stickers i never used, eclipse glasses from the 2024 eclipse, pride pins i thought i'd lost, my mask from the pandemic, a million pairs of sunglasses, cds, magnets, memories, memories, memories. i don't think i've ever shared as many memories with anyone else compared to red 5.

i still remember the first song i ever listened to in this car. "i still haven't found what i'm looking for" by u2. i don't know how i remember that, but i'm listening to it one last time before he's gone.
