Inside the Witch’s Car

My modern day broomstick... Living in LA, traffic is always a guarantee, & the city is so large that an hour drive to my destination feels like a short trip. Since I spend so much time in my car, she (my car spirit) has become my safe space, confidant, protector, & guide. My car spirit is one of my closest spirit allies, so I’d like to share some of the ways we keep the magic in my vehicle strong. ☀️

Mini besom (AKA witch’s broom) 🧹

To keep the energy clean & clear. It works double duty, because the cinnamon oil from the besom keeps my car smelling soooo good & witchy 🧙‍♀️✨

Protective crystals 💎

Tiger’s eye is a travel favorite for it’s magical properties like focus & protection. Amethyst is also great for cars to help ease any stress or anxieties, and to repel negativity.

Safe travels incantation 🎶

When I get into my car, after locking the doors, the first thing I do is say hello to my car spirit & a quick prayer that I always arrive to my destination safely, well and without delay.

Gas & car maintenance as offerings 💐

What better offering for a car spirit! And refueling/cleaning as a routine offering is something a driver is unlikely to forget.

In my car I keep The Sun for travel protection & blessings, and The Empress card I’ve enchanted for princess parking 👑

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's in your car and could provide protection  just by being in the car. I would wager there is additional layer of magic when the cds are actually played while driving, too.

We went to pick up the new car in my wife's white Nissan and stopped at the post office before leaving. Postal employees are used to seeing me pull up in my navy blue Chevy,  but as the post man for our route surely Bill has seen this white Nissan parked in our driveway many times . However , not knowing that we are on a trip to take possession of a new white car, as I waved hello to Bill at the back of the post office , he speaks up " I see you got a new car ". I correct him no...that I am driving my wife's car today, but that we are on our way to get a new car ...how did you know ? Some people just have latent empathic abilities that they are perhaps not fully aware of.
