Chat in the steam room - I think about these lines way too much, more than I probably should.
I cracked open the ol’ Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag this evening and then suddenly I was hit with a chunk of inspiration... so I turned it off and drew Pirate Hux and Ren instead.
My headcanon is that they’re reluctant allies pillaging and looting the Carribean seas in the 1700s. Captain Phasma, the pirate with a name that strikes fear into the weak, is their main rival. They’re constantly being attacked by the Spanish Armada, headed by Kylo’s mother, General Organa, and Captains Rey and Finn, who are after the necklace Hux stole from around Queen Mary II’s neck at a ball.

Custis willingly taking a break from his work to take a walk, that flat out shocks Geoff, but he's quick to catch on. Maybe a bit too quick, maybe a bit too eager, Custis got tired of having to warn him to slow down, the only thing keeping the guard from marching ahead is a firm arm to have him by Custis' side.
Morgan's revolutionary idea of 'taking a walk' is mostly Thorpe walking and the lord being carried. Thorpe fell for the old puddle trick and now he can't put Morgan down. It's like that for the rest of the walk.
Meanwhile Ren forgot to bring an umbrella and just trying to cover his wet little meow meow Treavor with his coat. Would be romantic if Treavor weren't cold and pissed, alas...

Johnny came home early and found Ren going through his stuff. That's why Johnnys first words to Ren were "Fuck!" and Ren's was "Shit!" 😌

60s Will and Rowan (and Conrad) first encounter Max when he discovers them hiding out in his barn after their escape from Roseway. He scares the shit out of them... but that doesn't even begin to compare to the second encounter.
Will (and Conrad) sneak back to Max's property a few nights later to fill up water jugs, figuring he must have a spigot somewhere but determined not to let him know they're still in the area.
He does have a spigot, but it's attached to the side of the house, deeply rusty, and VERY loud when they open it up. Max wakes up and comes charging out of the house, yelling and armed with a shotgun. He chases them most of the way to the road before Will trips and they have no choice but to actually face him. He gives them a good chewing out, which gets Will's back up and the whole thing nearly goes nuclear.
Lucky for them, though, the other side of Max's anger is exasperated pity for these two idiots (Rowan is temporarily exempt) who obviously have no idea what they're doing, and are 100% on track to get themselves killed. 😂
