Can you give some headcanons about your OCs
Aaaaahhhh thank you so much, nonny! I love talking about my OCs, and I’m happy you’re interested in them. :)
To keep myself from writing a novel as a reply, I’ll just list the first fact/quick story about my primary OCs that comes to mind.
Teyla Marin: When she was Sifo-Dyas’s Padawan, they took an undercover assignment on Malastare. Needing access to the underworld’s dealings and characters, Teyla enrolled as a podracer to situate herself and her Master right into the heart of the criminal ring. While she didn’t finish the race, they were able to complete their mission in secret. And the novelty of a Pantoran racer was such a hit that she was invited back the following 2 years. Ever since then, though, she’s wary about high-speed swoops and speeders, due to the crashes she was involved in.
Gida Tiatkin: (shared this before, but it’s worth a repeat) She hates having things on her head. Hats, helmets, those fashionable headwraps so common among females of her people, the Twi'leks - she can’t stand them. She gets very uncomfortable in sleeves; they make her skin feel itchy, like something’s crawling on her. As such, her tunics have been altered so her arms are bared. She’ll wear sleeves or covers if she has to, but changes as soon as possible.
Captain Mark: In his free time (a rare occurrence in itself), the clone captain of Chimera Company spends as much time as possible with his men. Playing cards and dice, listening to their bad jokes, recounting battles - anything to connect with them. Trained as a Captain, he didn’t get to socialize much with the rest of the soldiers on Kamino, and appreciates every minute he can get with his brothers. He has a notebook where he writes the names and descriptions of all the men in his company - making sure to include hairstyles, armor paint, weapon choice, and hobbies. He puts a dot next to all the ones who die in combat.
Lethaa Daal: A follower of the Old Ways and spiritually tied to her homeworld of Shili, Lethaa not only brought her customs to Coruscant with her, but brought Shili itself. On her Consular-class ship, Senate office, and personal apartment, the Togruta has a four-by-four foot section of floor cordoned off and filled with soil from Shili. Fully believing in the importance of being (literally) rooted to the motherworld, Lethaa will often stand or kneel barefoot on this soil when she’s feeling particularly overwhelmed or homesick. She also has several potted plants and ferns native to her homeworld, which she cares for herself.
I’ll leave it at that for now, otherwise I’ll get into all my clone troopers, Togruta, and other OCs lol.
Thanks again so much for the ask! 💛
