Cantine Matrona
Cantine Matrona Bianco Campagnia, Italy 2020 Caprettone, Falanghnia and Greco di Tufo
With 2.3 hectares on the Southern slopes of Mt. Vesuvius, Andrea Matrone's wines showcase the local Campagnia grapes and the unique quality the black volcanic soil gives to this wine. Caprettone was officially registered as a grape in 2014 and is only found in this part of Italy. Fermented on native yeast, rests for at least 12 months in tank before bottling and then for around another year before release.
