So Max didn’t exactly find peace in prison.
“You are a son of Changó…”
“…who kills, without being killed.”
“Who speaks with a thunderbolt.”
The prison lore in this show is getting very, very weird.

It’s been a few days and I still don’t know how to feel about this show.
There’s stuff I genuinely love. The Scorsese nods. The heat. The setting. That weird, sticky Southern vibe. And honestly? I’d still move into the Bowden house, even after 1x06. Guess I’d just have some uninvited roommates now. 😉
The show definitely has its charm, Max finally got some depth this week, and I’m dying to know what Anna is keeping secret.
But god, the Bowden family is driving me nuts.
Anna included. Tom for sure. And don’t even get me started on the kids.
Sometimes they act so stupid and unrealistic that I’m ready to rage-quit the episode.
Look, I get that they have to stretch the original story for TV, but it still feels like lazy writing at times.
Right now, Anna and Max are carrying the whole thing.
Anyway, here’s one of my favorite scenes from the episode.
So… are we calling this catnapping, or did the cat distribution system just pick a psychopath?
