Cape Commissions!

I’ve been cosplaying for a while and I feel like I pretty much have capes down, so I’d like to start offering cape commissions!
Did you know that capes are huge? I use a circle skirt pattern for the actual cape, interfacing if there is a collar, and some sort of actual button or clasp to hold the cape on! No velcro for me. Pricing would depend on the type of cape, amount of fabric, type of fabric, and measurements. For example, my Stephanie Brown cape was two 40 radius circle skirts on top of one another. Fabric cost about $60, but I wasn’t too worried about the price. I used knit fabric for both layers.

Warning: Capes are very time consuming and I'm currently in school, so I would like a three to four month time frame to work in! If you need something in less than a month, we can work out a small rush fee.
I only accept paypal payments and require that fabric is payed for before I start on any commission. After the commission is received, then I’ll need the payment for labor costs. Labor will most likely cost anywhere from $25-60 and will depend on the cape. For example, I would charge around $40-50 for the Stephanie Brown cape that I made for myself. Keep in mind that it took five or six hours to make.
If you’d like to buy your own fabric, we can work something out where you send it to me after we have measurements worked out! I’d also like to know what type of fabric you’re buying just so I know what I’m working with before it’s sent to me.
