Capcom's star is shining brighter than ever in recent years, and if the news is right, we will soon be releasing a new Resident Evil game.

Capcom is on the verge of making great financial gains lately thanks to Resident Evil 2 Remake, DMC 5, and Monster Hunter: World. And the company does not seem to be stopping, as it is developing the next Resident Evil game that will be tried out by the most dedicated fans in a few weeks. An email sent by Capcom yesterday said this.

In this they thank the Resident Evil Ambassadors for their support and say that they are making a new (old-new, spinoff? Don't know.) RE game that they will give it a try. This event will take place in early September, provided that everything is true for two days. Capcom held its last regular meeting in Tokyo in June, so it will be worth watching what the Japanese company has in store. It's sure to be time for a new act, as Resident Evil 7 has been released for over two and a half years, but I think it would be a positive reception if Nemesis came back as a remake.

It looks like we have to wait less for the next Resident Evil game than we thought. In fact, Capcom sent a letter to the franchise "followers", the content of which clearly indicates that the next RE is in playable condition. The Japanese message was translated by the operators of the Biohaze fan site.

The essence of Capcom's success program is that some fans get information about franchise games sooner. Enthusiastic RE players now have another advantage, as the email informs them that the ambassadors will test the Resident Evil game. It was written exactly that "a game in development" should be tested, but since it was made a condition of knowledge of earlier parts of RE, this franchise was obviously involved. The test will take place on September 8 or 9.

The letter didn't tell us exactly what kind of game it was, so it could be an eighth episode, a spin-off, or some more processing. Since Resident Evil 2 Remake has been a huge success, it's not hard to imagine the next time we get a remastered version of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which Capcom targeted in April. But whatever it is, the point is that the new game is already in playable state (or at least will be in September) so we can expect it to be released by next year.

Capcom has been doing quite well lately, according to a recent financial report that they are selling well.
