Thinking about the future too much??
Ever find yourself worrying too much about future events and thinking of negative outcomes. Well, you have come to the perfect blog where you will get to know all about “future thinking” and how you can avoid unnecessary thinking.
Ever find yourself worrying too much about future events and thinking of negative outcomes. Well, you have come to the perfect blog where you will get to know all about “future thinking” and how you can avoid unnecessary thinking.
When you are thinking of the future you are indirectly feeding your mind with the thought of, “I can predict the future”. But the hard truth is we can't, and worrying about situations that may not even happen in the future serves you no purpose. I can't deny that thinking about your future can be productive in some aspects, such as planning future goals or taking control of your own productivity, but we don't often consider downsides. Nowadays things are so much more unpredictable with numerous scenarios and options to consider. Thinking about your future can lead to a more fulfilling and generous life but it's after all just our imagination and thought. What you really have to focus on is the present. Taking action and thinking about what you want to do at this moment will be the baby steps that lead you to a bright future. It's important to be curious and optimistic about your future but once you feel like you're overthinking things in your head you're squandering your time. Whether you are a teenage kid thinking about college and exams or an adult thinking about your job and your family, life moves on, sets goals, and achieves them but thinking about it doesn't get you anywhere. It can build up anxiety and stress within an individual.
When someone says overthinking is bad we think only the negative thoughts are bad, assuming that positive thoughts are good right? But I have made the same mistake believing this. Our life is shaped by our thoughts and good or bad they will always be stuck in your mind. Now good thoughts can make you overconfident, worried due to all the future pressure and success. What I am trying to convey here: good thoughts are good but deep down in our minds, they can affect us in ways we didn't think of. Just decide to live in the present moment where you don’t have time to think, only to experience. Let go of all your thoughts about yesterday and tomorrow. No matter how much you want to achieve in the future, and no matter how much you’ve suffered in the past — appreciate that you are alive now! Look back at how you have grown and everything you have accomplished. The future is yours to create so start now in the present moment and work towards it! ☺Ever find yourself worrying too much about future events and thinking of negative outcomes. Wish I could shake suicide out of my head.
.Viv.
I think I secretly fell
I think I finally learnt to dwell
Not on the past, but on the present,
The present that has kept me so swell
I think I found my serendipity
In an innocently mischievous serenity
With them short curls and jet black eyes,
At which I could stare till eternity
I think I secretly fell.
I think I won't ever find a cure
Or another one whom my mind could lure
From the lopsided smile that gives me the chills
I'm unable to breathe now, hand me some gills
You be my Humpty and I'll be your Jill
We'll screw over the wall and knock down the hill.

“Fixing” a group of people that have lost trust in one another is like trying to fix a broken family. No matter what you do there will always be the victims, the abusers and those who pretend to be both for their ego.
