the more interviews i see of matt johnson the more its incredible to realise hes one of the few writers out there genuinely interested in stories ahout male best friends who are in love with each other without fulling realising it like he is aware of this and intentionally writes this into majority of his works

i do think mikewave would be p gross like mike constantly tastes like booze and bo cuz he never showers cuz hes passing out from said booze and well. i was gonna say nightwave would stink of cigarettes but i dont think hes ever canonicallt smoked and he regularly snipes which smoking is a bad habit to have for that but he does eat raw wet dog food so. also mike would reek of tobacco
