Hiccup leaves Berk before Astrid and he fly together.

He forms his own tribe

While formong tribe, he falls in love

He and his girlfriend find abandoned twins and adopts them

Hiccup marries his girlfriend and has a daughter

Berk gang washes up on his shores after 5-6 ish years

Stoick is an ass

After a few days, the Berkians are able to go home, but not before they are able to learn the Chief of the tribe that saved them is their long-lost heir

Stoick launches an attack on the Nest, despite Hiccup warning him not to.

After Hiccup saves the Hooligans from the Red Death, Stoick tries to kidnap Hiccup's daughter to turn her into a "proper Viking"

That plot fails because the gang (except i think Snotlout) warn Hiccup what he is planning

I think there were actually 2 versions of the story by the same author. One where Hiccup's wife died giving birth to their daughter, and ended woth Hiccstrid. And one where she lived and was pregnant during the story with theur second child.
