A Little Sweetness

Bucky stretched his fingers, running through the exercises required to test out the newest upgrades to his arm. There was a little tension but no pain, which was a win in Bucky’s book. He just needed to go through the sequence one more time and--Bam! A small, rectangle hit the back of his head. Thwap! Another hit his cheek.

“Is there a reason you’re pelting me with candy, Stark?”

“A little sweet for my--”

“I will leave this workshop.”

Tony came into view, the corner of his mouth lifted into a smirk. “You’re literally tied to my workbench with tubes and plugs. You’re not going anywhere, my sweet--”

Bucky kicked out, swiping Tony’s legs from under him, but before he could fall, Bucky’s non-plugged-in arm wrapped around his waist and pulled him onto his lap. “If you wanted my attention, you just needed to ask. You don’t need to throw candy at my face,” Bucky chided.

Tony pouted, wrapping his arms around Bucky’s neck. “Okay, fine, I’m bored and sugared up from candy. Give me attention.”

Bucky laughed and the sound of it brightened Tony’s pout into a grin that Bucky couldn’t help but kiss. Pulling back, he licked his lips. “Chocolatey Stark flavor, my favorite. And a much better use of chocolate than a projectile.”

“If you say so, my sweet.”

Bucky ran his hands up and down Tony’s back. “You’re the sweet one here.”

Nuzzling closer, Tony whispered, “If you say so, my sweet,” again, this time against his lips, before kissing away any more of Bucky’s objections.
