Also, it just occurred to me that my favorite pairing of Felix & Gaius actually qualifies for all three, which makes me really happy.
I think that’s actually the beauty of just doing “relationships” in general. So many two-character pairings had relationships that shifted dramatically over the course of the show, they’re not easily separated as enemies or allies or family/friends or lovers. I also like the idea of it not turning into *just* a ship war and giving things their due that were (a) important non-romantic relationships and (b) things people did ship but weren’t 100% canon, ‘cause there’s a lot of overlap there. Aaah I am increasingly excited about doing this and it might be a disaster but watch this space.

HAHAHA my minor character theory usually goes “anyone we didn’t see after S2 died on New Caprica, anyone we didn’t see from a point after that lived to the end.” So Bulldog’s okay. Hadrian maybe not. Boxey I’m so sorry.
