So the last time I visited my family my dad had amassed a bunch of cameras that he had been finding at the local thrift store and among them were some VERY particularly nice units. He found a Minolta Maxxum 9000, which is my DREAM camera, so that's dope. But then he also found THIS beautiful thing
And it's SO clean, I can't wait to shoot this camera
My favorite film camera, a Minolta X-700, broke today 😭 The film advance let go somewhere internally and I'll have to take it apart. I'm so disappointed. ALSO it happened as I finished off a roll of film and then I realized that I shot the whole roll of iso 200 at iso 400, so when I develop it I'll have to keep that in mind. Sigh. THEN I went to throw a fresh roll into one of my newer cameras I haven't tried yet. The light meter appeared to be working, but it wouldn't fire and the film advance was stuck. So yet another camera I'll have to fix. I'm super disappointed about this. I don't really have the space to work on cameras. I desperately need a workshop/studio space.
