In short, part of a low-thought AU where Deltarune works more like a tokusatsu show.

All three members of the gang get Delta Bracers, which are what allow the three to defend themselves and others in the Dark World. In addition, the five Shadow Crystals are contained within Shadow Drives, which allow specific party members to use the associated weapon.

While Susie and Ralsei get Delta Drivers however, Kris gets the SOUL Driver, which acts as their life support, access exclusive armor changes, as well as being a separate entity that shares control of their body.

Hey all! To prep for Chapter 5's release, I'm planning on doing a few livestreams of my attempt to replay the game! Will be trying to go for all Shadow Crystals, Eggs and Starwalker appearances.

On the left: Keidei Durziken, a member of the Kainne, and adopted sister of legendary hero Terrandus Durziken. Unable to speak Kenmeca and very limited claw dexterity, but still cognizant enough to read and write. Wears a faded orange scarf her adoptive mother made for her. Violently protective of her family and known to hiss at intruders. Played a major hand in helping save the town of Olai from being overrun by phantom spores due to her species' wings producing scales that neutralize the spores, and traveled with three adventurers - one being Terrandus - to confront the source of the spores, eventually realizing that the source was sapient and willing to compromise with the people of Olai and withdraw its mycelium on the condition it be allowed a certain amount of space to grow.

On the right: Katy, a fairy princess and the protagonist of the "Flutter Tales" series. Raised by the townsfolk since she was a nymph, the first game follows the tale of her awaking one day to find the town nearly overtaken by the forces of the mischievous mushroom prince Mao. Thanks to the power of her magic scales and some help from her big brother, she drove the infestation back and confronted the prince in his cave lair. After beating him in a fight, she realized he had been born into the world alone, and offered to be his friend on the condition he take it easy with the spores. Future games in the series would feature Mao as a good-natured rival, as well as typically having Katy's brother show up as a supporting protagonist and secret boss meant to literally test the player's skills in new ways each time.
