Diomedes meeting his grandfather for the first time and getting to hear all the awkward childhood moments of his father
Like yes, Tydeus thought he could uproot trees, his proof was a stinging nettle plant with roots he handed to his maid
No his hands itching and crying had nothing to do with that, someone surely cursed him but he didn't need any help
He was 3 and after crying for an hour and refusing help it turned out the herbs and cold water actually did ease the itching
That's what Oeneus tells Diomedes, in that short moment of connection they have
Today I learned that two of Tydeus' sisters were warriors
Specifically the two that did not get turned into birds - Gorge (mother of the trojan war hero Thoas) and Deianeira (wife of Heracles)
That family is Crazyyyyyy Ares is really running wild with them
Funfact apperently the reason they didnt get turned to birds was because Dionysos asked Artemis not to turn them and she granted it just like that
