Nathaniel Sterling Ward is the son of author Evelynn Ward, known for her famous series of children’s books Winter Sun & Summer Snow. She often claims that he is the reason for her success, because having him inspired her to write the first novel, and the subsequent ones were fictionalized and amplified accounts of his childhood antics, transformed into epic adventures by her writing under a different character.

Most people would think it’s awesome to have a book written after you, but Sterling’s fictional twin was near perfect and adored by millions of readers. How could he compete with that? If he failed at a kid’s puzzle, his literary counterpart excelled at it. If he tried to ride a bike and fell, his paper-bound better half would successfully do it under much harsher conditions.

The type of comparison he was under all the time, and the expectations set upon him made the boy accept nothing less than perfection, otherwise what’s the point? His mother prided herself on being a single mother by choice and able to give him the best possible education. That made him feel at the same time unsatisfiable and unsatisfying. He was Captain of the Lacrosse team, Student Body President, involved with the Martial Arts club, did some stunts for the school’s newspaper and found time to be helpful and popular, but not threateningly so. So perfect it was boring, though it made some great PR!

Sterling was the poster child that answered the ‘can a teenager in real life have it all? Popularity, Good Grades, Decent Mental Health?’ question no one asked with a big fucking 'YES, I SURE CAN’. Until the day he couldn’t anymore. Nothing majorly traumatic happened, no big, dramatic twist like the ones his fictional self would surely overcome. That made his freaking out even more pathetic in the eyes of his mother, he thought. He can barely remember what was it that set him off, but it prompted him to hijacking homecoming, giving the entire school a scathing, rage inducing and extremely offensive “The many reasons why you suck and I hate all of you” speech before being dragged off stage.

Through great effort, Mrs. Ward managed to shut the school up about the incident and as a form of punishment and precaution about the upcoming of her latest book, enrolled him at a prestigious but secluded private school for the rest of his basic education. A boarding school for unwanted, inconvenient children, he thought. That only made him even angrier, and in the new school, this new Foucaultian prison, he decided he was done pleasing people and trying to catch up with a goddamn book for kids. In the new school, he reinvented himself. Sterling chose to be the plague of the neighborhood, and it for once felt good.

This new improved attitude arrived with him to college as well, where at first he had all it took to be a Beta, but his personality clashed with the rest of the Betas, so he thought it was best if he had his own frat where he could be doing whatever the fuck he wanted. That’s when he joined Sigma Tau Episilon and found the respect that has eluded him for so long. Truth be told, he doesn’t really give a damn about the Sigma nerds, but they’re handy and they enjoy a symbiotic relationship. Well, commensalistic, actually. But who’s keeping track of that, right?

> biography.

usually the ‘baby’ of the family is the one that is spoiled and the favorite, but elton grew up the polar opposite. he was born into a wealthy family, but no matter what, he always came in second compared to his older sibling. this made his parents put him on the back-burner of sorts, so elton grew up very lonely. he was ignored so often by his mother, a very high strung and powerful woman, that he started to believe he wasn’t worth much. this caused him to become very anxious, very introverted, and extremely shy in nature all the while pitying himself.

at a young age, elton was diagnosed with ADHD so he has a very hard time concentrating on many things and is unable to sit still for a long period of time. this made school very hard for the boy and he soon was taking adderall. he is extremely dependent on medication for this and wouldn’t know how to act if he wasn’t able to take it.

elton never excelled in much in school unless it was with numbers, always preferring a fantasy life over his own, so getting into any college was an achievement for him, let alone a really good one. with his father’s passing a few years ago, elton seems super unaffected by much and still is riding the wave of the money his family has.  and because elton grew up with no affection from his family, he has a very hard time understanding the way the world works, or who to trust, or who to give love, or even how to receive it, but he really is a decent human with great potential, if only he could get into the right mindset.

Both parents had given her a hard time growing up. 

Her mother was addicted to drugs, and her father was abusive. 

Her only out in this whole thing was her music. She would hide in her room from her family for hours at a time playing her guitar to drown out the world around her

She found it hard making friends when she was younger because she didn’t want to tell anyone what was going on with her family. She had always felt very alone. 

Because her family is the way they are she was so afraid that she would also have an addictive/abusive trait in her blood that she has never tried drugs. She is scared to try them. 

Fear has controlled a lot in her life, it also makes her very controlling and selfish. 

When she was fourteen years old she had auditioned for a couple of singing competitions. She didn’t win any, but she did get the attention of a large scale music producer

She ended up signing a music contract and recording her first album at the age of 15.

Her music blew up, (think like Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber) She never thought she would be a household name, but she was thankful too not have to be around her family anymore. 

Her parents stayed behind as she went on the road with her Aunt acting as her manager and baby sitter. 

Her life was in the publics eye for the rest of time, and controlled by the music industry. 

All of her relationships have been for publicity, and PR stunts. She has never known what it’s like to enjoy a moment. 

When she was eighteen her mother overdosed and she had to say goodbye to her. She was not prepared for the anger and sadness that would form through this. She refused to talk to her father since then.

She has been taking a break from the public eye to go to school. It’s also her way of not being controlled by anyone anymore. She likes that she can choose whatever she wants to do here.

she never thought that she would find herself in a sorority, but she has found a home in it. it’s forced to have friends, people that she can trust. She truly believes that these are her sisters. She couldn’t imagine living without them anymore. 

She’s become quite a party girl at school. She lets alcohol control her when she’s out, she finds that it’s the only time she can let loose and let her hair down is when alcohol is involved. Although this is a scary thought she doesn’t think twice about it. 

She’s friendly and sweet. She’s charming as all hell, and she knows it.

Cece’s twin, they also have an older brother Kyle. She gets on really well with her siblings, but sometimes being around Cece can be a bit too much. Loves to party and socialise. She’s all about making friends and being the centre of attention.  Wants to become a lawyer so is very focused on her education. She’s also really good at debating/arguing and calls it practice.  Has been in cheerleading for as long as she can remember, although she desperately wants to quit but doesn’t have the guts to let down her family, because they’re all really athletic and it gives her something to talk to them about.  She’s the more rebellious child in the family, she has a nose piercing and belly ring that her parents aren’t too happy about.  She hates it when: people underestimate her, people compare her to Cece and people call Cece dumb, only she can do that. When she’s not partying you can catch her watching crime documentaries in her room.  She’s likely to just appear out of nowhere and take you on an adventure.    Sometimes pretends to be Cece for a laugh. Bio:

Xander Jameson is a flirt, a liar and a cheat. He’s problematic and gets on people’s nerves when he wants to. However, he’s also charming and manipulative. He is very blunt when people ask him for honesty, and he will be straight up. However, he is known for omitting the truth or making ‘little’ white lies. 

He had a twin sister but she ran away when he was fourteen years old. Her and her parents fought all the time, and they said some really horrible stuff to her. Xander had always been the favourite child, but that didn’t stop his connection with his sister. They got along really well, until she left. He was hurt badly, and soon became cynical and distrustful of women in general, but he wasn’t so much an asshole and reclusive.

Then, his mother left when he was sixteen. He hadn’t been close with his parents since his sister’s disappearance but it still wounded him. His parents spent days and weeks arguing after his twin had gone missing. They blamed each other, both saying that the other was the cause of all their family problems. So, his mother eventually packed her bags and walked. Xander saw her every weekend, but now.. His trust in women and also his respect had gone down. He saw women as cheats and liars, and the only way to beat the game? Make your own.

That’s what built Xander into the person he is today. He’s a broken man, one who was cracked by his family more than he’d like to admit. He has a few friends, even a few female friends but they usually spent a long time proving their loyalty to him before he 100% trusted them.

Xander has a tendency to say and do bad things, things that could get him into a lot of trouble. He smokes, drinks and hooks up with random women on the regular. He’s usually off his head on some kind of drug, and he also gets into fights a lot. However, he manages to maintain a C average, mainly because he’s actually rather intelligent.. He’s just hurt.
