Castlevania: Nocturne Prompts

Jada frowned and shook her head profusely, her hands grasping the water bottle tighter as she sat there on the step of her ambulance, right outside the emergency room. She knew Ella was right, she knew there was nothing more she could have done and the patient she brought in made his choices on his own and she couldn't possibly have done anything else that would better his condition.

Problem was, that patient was her friend. Not a close friend, but good enough that they talked every once in a while when she was in his area in Crime Alley. He was clean for two weeks now and was doing so well, he even said he had a job interview this Thursday. Jada never saw any signs of regression. Maybe she should have looked closer.

Me: *sings Pony*

Cousin: uhhhh can you stop.

Me: *sarcastically* Sorry didn't know I was hurting you.
