“Who taught him how to use emojis?” 

“I’ll give you one guess to figure that one out, champ.” It was pretty easy to guess, considering which one of them was the youngest and was a big fan of using emojis. A certain spider-man. Peter was always sending emojis to Tony. It was actually kind of ridiculous but it always made him laugh.

tony did a lot of questionable things,  before he became iron man.  making the weapons that ended up destroying a lot of towns and cities,  that ended up killing a lot of people and leaving them without families.  taking away their brothers,  sisters,  fathers and mothers.  the guilt of that never left him,  never really stopped weighing heavily on his shoulders.  he would always feel bad for that,  knowing that it was his fault that people were dead and injured because of him. 

one hand rubbed the side of his neck,  thumb rubbing over the skin of his neck just to try and keep himself grounded.  to try and keep himself settled because he wasn’t feeling the best,  the fact that he kept thinking about it all of the time.  lips pressed together and he looked up to clint with a slight frown.  “are you sure, though?  i judge myself for it,  all the damn time.”  though,  to be fair,  he always ends up being his own worst enemy,  regardless. 

“Eh, I don’t know.” Wanda was clearly kidding, her tone of voice just a little too sarcastic to be real as she set down the book she’d been reading and got up from where she’d been curled into a chair by the window. Clint was always far more interesting than any book.
