The legendary phoenix or simurgh made up of the Arabic words for strength, love, hope, rise, faith and protection: القوة ، الحب ، الأمل ، تنشأ ، الإيمان ، الحماية This type of calligraphy design is often termed a zoomorph, words creating the shape of an animal. Sometimes the words form a tightly bounded shape. In this case I preferred much looser strokes to give the feeling of the bird rising up in ecstatic flight full of strength and hope.
