I walk across the ship at night, wanting to get a late night snack. I see that the Gun Battery’s lights were still on. “Garrus..” I say leaning on the door frame with a disapproving tone. “Commander!” he jumps up. “what are you doing up this late?”

“i should be asking you that.” i rest my hand on his shoulder. “just some calibrations.”

“garrus vakarian, with the amount of time you calibrate the guns, they must be fine!”

“yeah, yeah.”

“garrus, you need sleep.”

“shepard, i need to know we will be safe.”

i huff, “just come to bed, ok? for me?”

he looks at the ground, debating. “ok, fine.”

“but first i need a snack!”

he laughs, “sure sweetie, i’ll make you whatever food you want. just don’t tell vega, he’ll get the…munchies? as he calls it.”

i laugh and hug garrus.

“i love you.”

“i love you too.” i kiss him on his cheek.

“now, food! i’m starved!”

They look kinda similar, yeah?

And if Tony had survived Endgame, he and Garrus would have worn not only similar visors but also scars on the right side of their faces.
