I didn't love Sara and Neal together the first time I watched the show but now that I've watched it twice I cry just thinking about them

They're raising baton-wielding con-children, Your Honor T_T

the concept of sara breaking one of her favorite heels while chasing neal down the first time they met. and neal sending her a brand new pair to her office with a note that was probably meant to come across as playfully smug and apologetic, but just ended up pissing sara off. because it took him only a week to track her down, while it’d taken her months to find him. and their first conversation during neal’s trial being sparked by the fact that she was wearing the shoes he’d gifted her. and sara feeling the need to tell him exactly what she thought of him (that he was a sociopath) when she saw that the realization had brought a teasing glint in his eyes when the whole point of her wearing them had been to rub it in his face that she had in fact won their little battle, even if she hadn’t recovered the raphael.
