I’ve been struggling A LOT lately personally with sexism. To the point where it has become physically draining.
I’m a firm believer in energy. All we are are concentrated balls of pure energy, and our experiences and perceptions of those experiences give off an individual and unique personal vibe. Everyone has one.
But in a broader sense, there are two types of energy: positive and negative. Anyone in their right mind will say that the world needs more POSITIVE energy.
Someone that has taught me a lot about energy in general is Caesar Milan. He is like a dog psychologist, easily one of the best dog experts in the world. He ALWAYS says, “The dog is first a dog. Then it is its breed. Then it is its unique name and personality.”
Caesar understands that energy is the core of every living being, and what he applies to dogs can totally be applicable to humans, in that we are first HUMAN BEINGS, then we are our race, then we are our gender, then we are our unique names and personalities.
Caesar’s big message when working with dogs is that the human being needs to possess positive energy, because that is a language all living beings can read. We communicate with dogs the same way we communicate with people and with nature: through our energy.
We run into problems in life when we focus on just certain aspects of who people are. I am more than just a white female. I am a unique personality. And I can communicate that to any living creature through my energy.
Sexism is just that—zeroing in on a “woman” rather than a “person.” Or just seeing a “man,” not another human being. Racism is just that---zeroing in on where a person was born and not who they actually are.
When we do that, we develop bad behaviors….just like dogs, just like with what Caesar Milan works with. And he fixes it on a therapeutic energetic level.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, be an overwhelmingly positive concentrated ball of energy if you can. Because that is going to serve you, and the ENTIRE WORLD, so much better at the end of the day. Try to focus on people as unique personalities and fill others’ positive energy buckets as you fill your own. This world could really use more of that.
Oh uh, real quick?
I don’t wanna hear any racist shit about Caesar Milan in the aftermath of this, okay?
Saying he doesn’t have a right to be here is like misgendering Caitlyn Jenner; yeah they both suck, but just like, don’t. Ok?
I’m the Dog Whisperer of Rockaway (I Know What I’m Barking About)
As humans, sometimes we live in the past and sometimes we worry about the future. Not dogs, dogs always live in the moment.

“A negative situation can be empowering, if you are willing to do what needs to be done to create balance.” - Caesar Millan
In relation to Caesar Milan, I managed to sit through a whole episode & it was all frankly horrible, but one thing stuck in my head. How he teaches dogs to sit. He literally hauls them bodily into the air by a lead (I'm sure he'd use choke chains if he could). Not even after other methods failed, it's his go to approach. My dog got sitting for a treat raised over his head, hell my cat got it in no time flat. It seems not just misinformed & outdated but like he actually WANTS to punish dogs.
yup. it’s even worse when people actually do what they see him doing… like i know ppl who use his practises just because they see it’s “working” on tv
In my line of work I have found that there is no such thing as a problem breed, but there are problem owners.
