Okay, I am starting to get noticeably better at this. Starting on a design request from a friend, a tweak of a design I used to make in metal clay, but taking it farther, making it a little more. A little something special. This image just shows me working out the basics. The details, math, staying within the production constraints, etc, will be the tricky part, and will come later. Have I said lately how much more I like CAD designing vs metal clay? Day Two on this one. (The booleans gave me a lot of trouble, but it's moving along now. It feels slow to me right now, because I'm still learning. Still a lot of frustration, too. I've tried enough new skills to know it's all part of the process.) This one is taking even longer because the primary selection button on my mouse died, so I'm using the laptop touchpad until the replacement mouse arrives.
