CAB 2014 in Pictures! With Art Spiegelman, Roz Chast, Raymond Pettibon and a cast of dozens
The Beat took pictures at CAB 2014! Some of them are Hipstamatic. Live with it. This was a good show, as usual. I came back with a bag full of books and immediately started reading them, one of the virtues of the home show. Although jam packed the show was surmountable, and I thought I would go once around the room and take photos of every one so I would have good file photos for when someone…

Hey Hey, come find me at CAB this weekend (Saturday, Nov 8th from 11 to 7 at the Mt Carmel Church in Williamsburg)! I'll be downstairs at D25. Very excited to be debuting the first issue of Ley Lines, a fine art fan art comics series co-published with Grindstone Comics (D23). The first artist is Annie Mok (U23), riffing on Egon Schiele. This comic is great, looking forward to sharing it with you all. I'll also have the Czap Books releases from this year, PUPPYTEETH 4 and Eat That Toast (Matt will be joining me for signing and funny interactions), as well as the hot item of the year,Cyanide Milkshake #6. Also be sure to grab the limited remaining copies of my "Lyric Sheet" from SPX and the print I did with Georgia Webber. See you soon!
