CW: Mention of breaking horns. Thatâs it I think.
What would each character do with the horns n shit??
Quackity would leave em be. He thinks theyâre cute. If you tried to use them to hurt him, heâd put some kind of protective installment on them. Some mental plate over it that keeps it from piercing skin.
Awesamdude would probably do the same as Quackity. Except heâd do that the moment he got you.
Sapnap would literally sand them down. Not too much, and not anywhere close to your nerves.
Dream, this fucker. Heâd sand em down to stubs. Hitting REALLY close to where your nerves start. Heâd threaten to break them off if heâs really mad at you.
And Techno would leave them be. He knows full well that whatever you try to do isnât gonna hurt him. And he knows that you know better.

SUMMARY: AFTER FALLING IN A TRAP LAID BY SAM, YOU'RE STUCK IN THE PRISON (AGAIN) AND THINGS GET A LITTLE STEAMY WITH THE WARDEN WHEN HE VISITS YOUR CELL.
pairing: awesamdude x chubby fem reader
word count: 3.2k
warnings: pretty rougher than i'd usually do, not realistic, authority-ish dynamics, handjob, unprotected sex, breeding kink (oof)
A/N: Happy halloween! Sorry this isn't a continuation of any of my fics, I'm sorry, I have brainrot OTL I thought I'd write a little Awesamdude to spice things up!!!
Known for your escapades and trifling ways, you held the title of Server Thief much to the chagrin of a little Prison Warden.
Agile hands and a special affection for shiny things brought you to this position: Climbing atop of the Prison in search of the greatest beacon ever created.
With more diamonds than you can count and emeralds that span for an entire chunk, it would glisten under the sun so brightly anyone in its vicinity needed sunglasses to avoid any damage.
But when you reach the rooftop, Obsidian still warm from the sunlight well into the night, thereâs barely anything. A simple beacon with only 9 diamond blocks, that wasnât going to blind anyone.
âLooking for something?â
Fuck.
âHeeey, Mr W, sir, looking good,â You turn around in one motion, hands turning into finger guns as you try to charm your way out of this.
âHands where I can see them, Thief.â As you throw your hands up, he approaches you, weapon en guarde.
âIs this really necessary, I mean, no harm was done, I just came here to ⌠Stargaze.â
Sam stares at you in disbelief, âYeah, what planet is that?â He points to the big bright yellow toned blob in the sky.
âUhâŚVenus?â
âThatâs the Moon, dumbass.â
You hiss a âso closeâ before turning to plead at him once again. âHey, nothing wrong with picking up a new hobbyâŚâ
âYou canât run forever, yâknow.â The lead binds your wrists together tightly, a long bit allows him to tug you along.
âWasnât planning on it,â you shrug, âjust as long as youâre still running after me.â
Sam scoffs, pulling you tight into his body, arm thrown across your shoulders, you stare at him, wide-eyed. Straining your neck to look at his face even with your taller-than-average stature, his hand strongly around your waist.
He throws an ender pearl toward the entrance. And just before you know it, he jumps across the ledge.
Youâre in a free-fall, wind cutting across your cheeks as you scream.
Sam is laughing even as you both plunge toward the ground.
Once the pearl hits the ground, youâre both safely teleported.
Youâre hardly breathing, hair a ratâs nest. The warden canât help his laughter as he opens the entrance and drags you along the prison. You pout, following him until youâre thrown in one of the common cells.
âYou know, my requests for redecor are sure taking a long time to get through to managementâ
Sam chuckles, dangling his keys around his pointer finger, âWell, why donât you keep getting arrested? Iâm sure that will help.â
You roll your eyes, crashing into the thin, uncomfortable bed.
It doesnât take long before youâre bored out of your mind, walking around in your cell, looking for a way to bother your favourite Prison Warden. You grip at the iron bars, sticking your face as far as it will let you, pursuing your lips as you sing:
âOh, Mr. Warden~â
Though Sam tries to ignore you, you manage to win.
He comes barreling down the long hall and you smile; His trident clanks to the obsidian floor and with impeccable posture, the Warden stands at the front of your cell, eyes conveying all his hatred.
âWhat do you need, 1031?â
You pout, âIâm hungry~â
Sam sighs, âItâs not meal time.â
âThis is a violation of human rights!â
Sam leans down to your eye level, raising an eyebrow, âPrisoners have no rights.â You hear the whistling of his heavy breathing from the vents that surround his gas mask,
âYes⌠Yes they do. Iâm hungry, come on.â You whine, unknowingly stepping away from his intense gaze.
He sighs, giving up. âAlright.â
Licking your lips, you grip tighter on the iron bars, peeking between metal, âHate to see you leave⌠Love to watch you go,â You bite your lips, admiring how tightly his dark cargo uniform hugged his figure.
When he comes back, he tells you to step back before dropping a boiling plate of oatmeal on the small window.
âThank you, Mr. W~!â You sing as you watch his figure leave. Sam just sighs.
It had been almost half an hour since he had dropped off your food, not only should you have been done by now, you were also awfully quiet for someone so rowdy and annoying. As he approaches your cell, all he can hear aside from his own footsteps is the running tap.
âShit,â he curses, rushing to open the door. The plate is on the floor, oatmeal splattered across the floor but youâre nowhere to be seen. â1031, come on! State your whereaboutsâ
When you peek from the curtains, Sam is speechless, frozen in place as he sighs.
You smile weakly, âFor someone whoâs so proud of his âinescapable prisonâ you were sure worried I had escaped.â
âWhat did you do?â He makes sure to step back and stand between you and the cell door, just in case.
âI burnt myself.â
âAre you thick? How the fuck did you do that?â
âOh, Iâm sorry handcuffs arenât the most flexible thing around.â
â...â
He huffs, pounding on the door to close it behind himself before he steps to your washing corner, pulling the curtains at once.
âW-What are you doing?!â You stutter, pulling the curtain back, hoping he hadnât seen anything, but unfortunately, he made it very clear he had.
âWHY ARE YOU NAKED?!â Sam covers his mouth, so thankful for the bright red curtain that stays between the two of you.
âI wasnât exactly expecting visits!â You sigh, cursing the universe for this embarrassing moment.
â...Thereâs a first aid kit under your bed with some clean bandages, wrap yourself up and put on some clothes, Iâll bring you⌠Iâll bring another plate.â
Youâre sitting on the bed by the time he comes back, opening the cell door and stepping inside, letting it close with a loud bang. Sam places the plate by your side, eyes glued to you.
He grabs a pair of handcuffs, attaching it to the lead around your wrists and the headboard.
The both of you engage in a staring contest, until he breaks the silence, âGo on⌠Eat.â
You just raise your arms, showing the very clear chains that bind your wrists together, hoping heâd undo them, but Sam just sighs, sitting next to you.
When he grabs the spoon, scooping bits and raising it to your face, you just freeze.
Sam looks annoyed and out of time, though that would be just his default emotions usually. He just shoves the spoon toward your mouth, you open it hesitantly, cringing at the now very lukewarm oatmeal.
âThanks. You donât have to do that, I can figure it outâŚâ You mutter, chewing your terrible prison food. God, those Yelp reviews you left donât seem very effective.
âSo you can try and kill yourself again? not a chance.âSam scoops up another spoonful, tapping at your lips. It spills in a clump over your bust and he unconsciously just uses the spoon to scrape it off your skin.
Only realising his action later, you cough to hide your embarrassment.
âWell, if I keep making you spoon-feed me, your pretty, angelic girlfriend will skin me alive,â You laugh at the thought of that petite thing trying to take you down.
âShe wonât,â Sam replies, scooping you another bite.
âOh, I wonât fall for that again! She was furious the last time.â
âWe⌠We broke up.â He clears his throat.
âWhat?!â
He remains quiet.
âWhat did you do?â
Sam scowls at your words, âWhy is that your first question?!â
âOh, come on, Sam, sheâs a smart, gorgeous woman with a beauty unlike any other, any guy would kill to be your positionâŚâ
You werenât lying, she was this perfect little thing with a killer bod who made anyone swoon. Much unlike a thief who only brought stress.
He sighs, choosing to ignore your words, âShe...She just wasnât right for me.â Sam fakes a smile, another spoonful of oats waiting for you.
You bite your lip nervously, âItâs okay, Iâm sure you will find someone.â
He sighs again.
âYou know these are so undercooked, right?â You comment in the hopes of changing the mood but he seems surprised.
Sam frowns, removing his mask before he brings the spoon to his lips, gagging at the flavourless mush, âHoly shit, how have you been eating this?â
You laugh, pretending youâre not enticed by his gorgeous smile, âI donât exactly have an option...You⌠You have some.â Pointing to your lips, you look at the clump that sits on his cheek.
He brings his hand to his face, wiping at the completely wrong side. âNo, not that side,â
âWhere?â
âNot thereâ
âJust pointâ
âThereâ
âUgh,â You groan in frustration bringing your hand to wipe it off his face, but unable to thanks to your handcuffs. In a bout of irritation, you just lean forward, licking the bit off his cheeks.
Sam freezes, staring at you as you swallow, licking your lips in sequence.
You realise what you did, staring at his face, âI-Iâm- Iâm sorry-â Your words are cut off by the crashing of his lips against yours.
The warden throws the plate across the rooms, letting his hands be free as he cups your cheeks, bringing you into him. The plate splats into the ground, the mushy oatmeal slipping across the cement as you groan into his kiss, your body subconsciously leaning into his touch.
When you part, Sam stares at your face, âDo you know how fucking long Iâve been waiting to do this?â
You gasp softly, not thinking anyone would ever look at you in such a way, let alone someone like Sam. The blush that spreads across your cheeks makes him chuckle, his right hand tangled around your hair just as his left caress your jaw.
Itâs not too long before his lips are on yours again, this time more desperate, saliva dripping through and stringing down your chins. Youâre both moaning into the kiss, his body towering yours the more he leans forward, wanting to drink every single one of your whimpers.
His hand travels under your shirt, the hotness of your skin aches against his touch. Fondling his way around, Sam is happily surprised by the lack of a bra, your skin is abundant even against his large palms. One hand is not enough to cup your chest properly.
You arch into his lips when he trails down wet kisses across your skin, taking his time into leaving dark marks, biting and nibbling stains onto your complexion.
Samâs head is under your shirt, tongue dragging across your skin as his fingers pinch and twist at your nipples sending electricity straight to your core.
He kneads at the flesh of your stomach, much to your chagrin. You try to push him away, but Sam quickly holds your hands in place. His hand wraps around both of your wrists, holding them above your head while his other plays with the band of your trousers.
Pulling them at once, the Warden takes his time to admire your body, the contrasting colour of your pants against your skin and how much he wishes to litter marks of his lips and teeth along every centimetre of your thighs and stomach.
When you look up, his eyes seem to almost glow in the poorly lit cell, devouring every inch of your body. He stands tall, the uniform in a jet black hugs his muscles just right but you can help but wonder how his body would look under those straps and leather.
âI- I want to touch you- Please-â You breathe and beg, which Sam canât deny. Not when you look so breathless, pressing your thighs together, your chest rising up and down in such a hypnotising motion.
âSo eager, sheesh-â
âShut-â
Sam tuts, âCome on, thatâs not how you say it.â His fingers are under your chin, you feel his breath tickle your sore lips, you instinctively close your eyes, awaiting his kiss, but he just laughs.
âBeg, baby,â His thumb swipes at your bottom lip, not helping at the mess of colour your lipstick left.
âPlease, please, please-â
His smile is short of devious.
He undoes the handcuffs, but not the knots around wrists.
Soon, youâre flipping him around, letting his back crash into the mattress and settling around his hips. Your thighs and stomach spill out of your underwear so beautifully.
You run your fingers through his shirt, feeling the definition of his chest. Tugging at the hem, you whine and he chuckles, helping you take it off. You lean forward, tracing his pecks and skin, every raised scar tissue, every mole, you admire it all.
Playing with the buttons of his pants, you run your fingernail across his clothed erection, earning yourself a choked groan.
âFuck-â Sam covers his mouth, watching attentively as you lean forward, your chest lays over his thighs, cleavage looking so inviting he might just consider cumming all over your boobs. âJust fucking- Do it- Already!â
âIf you ask nicely, Mr W,â A smile paints your lips, your hungry eyes scan the pained thirty look on his face.
âP-PleaseâŚâ Sam breathes out, âPlease, suck my dickâŚâ
âYour wish is my command!â
Once his button pops open, you trace around the wet spot that stains his pants, feeling how much his thighs clench under your body. Every touch, as light as it is, makes his entire body jerk.
âCome on,â Sam warns you, tone breathy and less threatening than he wanted it to come out.
Holding his member feels hotter than youâd expected, it throbs in your hands when you pump it, dripping saliva to use as lube all over his skin.
His dark green veins glisten under your tongue, tip bright red, strings of precum leaking in a milky white. You pepper kisses along his length, faint marks of whatever is left of your lipstick.
Sam groans when youâre around him, hot tongue too much on top of every single stimulus heâs receiving. Your soft sighs, your body over his, the absolutely breathtaking view youâre giving him.
Your hair frames your face, hollowed out chubby cheeks swallowing him whole. So perfect and eager to suck him off, strings of saliva falling from your luscious lips, fingers so expertly massaging his balls and base.
Itâs not too long until Sam leans back, his fingers tangled around your hair, guiding your face toward his crotch as you engulf his dick.
Letting the tip hit the back of your throat, you gag; vibrations travelling across his skin send a moan flying out of his lips. He smirks, eyes meeting your teary ones.
But you just look so pretty choking on his cock.
Your fingernails are scratching at his skin, red trails that mimick the tear that slips over your pretty face.
He pulls your head back, you gasp for air, a smile across your face. Sam brings you up, slamming his lips against yours.
Youâre both chuckling as you settle into his lap, letting him feel the outline of your chest against his, every curve of yours drives his body fucking insane.
God, he canât wait to feel you around him.
Sam wraps his arm around your waist as you throw your tied hands over his neck, fingers scratching at his nape. He lifts you over, pushing aside your underwear, one finger running over your folds, slick dripping over.
You press your lips to his before he can make a mean comment about your wetness.
When you settle over his cock, you both have your heads thrown back, sighs and moans escaping at the incredible feeling. Your walls clench around him, the pressure almost makes him cum at once.
Kindly letting you adjust, you both sit still, stabilising your breathing before he finally moves. Sam is bucking his hips in a slow and dragging rhythm, his hands are tight on your hips.
No matter how hard he grabs at your skin, itâs still soft and plush, spilling over his fingers. His lips are attached to your neck, teething and nibbling as you arch your chest, practically handing yourself over on a platter.
Whenever he bucks up, your boobs jiggle, dragging across his chest. Your lips are in a perfect little âOâ, smeared lipstick painting a masterpiece around your cheeks, youâre his little criminal, sharp-tongued and agile, now bouncing pretty on him and sex-drunkenly moaning.
Every single aspect of your body drives him absolutely insane.
When youâre getting used to the pace, moving your hips to meet his, Sam ceases completely, leaving you a whining mess.
Youâre leaning forward, whimpering in his ear, begging for him to move, to give it to you already!
âMove it, baby,â He breathes out, the very thought making him dizzy, âRide me.â
Youâre not about to deny his request.
Setting your own pace, itâs not too long before you bounce on his cock, your tits jumping all over the place as Sam leans back and watches the prettiest view, your body is absolutely glowing and not just from the sheen the sweat gives. The smirk on his face is more content than he lets it slip.
âWhat a waste of a pretty face...â His fingers are pressing on your cheeks, pulling your lips to meet his in a quick kiss, âSay my name, babyâ
âMr W~â You whine, doe-eyed and out of your damn mind, Sam raises an eyebrow and you gulp. âS...Sam. Sam! Sam!â
God, he could die right now and heâd be in pure bliss.
You lean forward, pressing your lips to his as you bounce fast, the bed is threatening to quit and buckle under the weight and movement of you two. Sam is moaning into your lips, body steaming in utter pleasure.
Your fingers are running over his hair, tangling and pulling on the right places. Nails scratching at his wrists.
âIâm- Iâm close-â Sam manages to stutter out.
âMe too,â you whisper back, quickening your movements just enough to get you both to meet your orgasms. âCum in me, fill me up, Sam-â
âAh, fuck, take it all-â Heâs bucking into your hips, spluttering hot inside of you, spilling into your body with a guttural groan. âTake my cum, baby- Iâll breed you up- So good.â
The very feeling of his come invading your walls, filling you up so well, dripping from your swollen and overstimulated cunt. âB-Breed me!â
Youâre not too far off from his state either, head thrown back, neck littered in marks as you scream his name as high as your throat will allow.
You ride your orgasms, foreheads glue together.
Youâre both breathing heavily and totally out of breath when you smile, licking your lips. He reciprocates your smile, leaning forward to kiss your nose.
âThank you, Mr W~â You sing, one hand caressing his cheek as the other brushes off the hair glued to his forehead.
Wait, when did you get loose?
He tries to grab you but clings to the headboard where you handcuffed his wrist.
Before Sam can even process it, youâre off on your feet, blowing him a kiss as you close

Why did it have to be here, right now?
You were out with some friends at a festival a few days away and you didnât think there would be anyone at the festival you knew beforehand. Unsurprisingly to you, there was a certain person there that you recognized and wished you hadnât.
One of your friends was currently slung across a mans lap, intoxicatedly giggling at him, so they were out of the question. Another had walked upstairs with two other people, so thatâs two down. Your third friend was in the middle of a conversation with a group and you werenât the type to burst into the middle of a conversation.
You bit your lip, glancing around nervously. You bumped into a tall, green-haired hybrid, mumbling a sorry as you tried to slip away. The hybrid held onto your arm, preventing you from falling or bumping into anyone else. You looked up, now taking the moment to recognize just who it was that had caught you.
There stood your dearest boyfriend that you had missed oh so much. The Awesamdude, or Sam as youâd grown to know him.
âHey, donât pull away, youâll only hurt yourself.â
God dammit.
You nodded silently, letting him hold your arm until you reached back, taking his hand in yours like you always did in private. Itâd been a while, so it felt a little awkward. Your transponder buzzed in your pocket and you pulled it out, reading the message silently.
It was from the groupchat with the friends that were at the party as of the moment.
âWhoâs the dude with Y/n?â
âDunno.â
âOooo is this your fabeled boyfriend??â
âLmaooo bet itâs just some random guy.â
You rolled your eyes, turning and noticing that they were all downstairs and watching you like a hawk. Sam noticed how uncomfortable youâd grown and cupped your face gently.
âLovebird? Whatâs wrong?â
âNothinâ, Sammy. Donât worry about it.â
You gave him a smile as you thought, leaning into his chest for a hug. All of your friends believed you were lying about having a boyfriend. With a grin, you beckoned for him to bend down.
âHey, I know youâre not a big fan of PDA, but I need you to make out with me in front of my friends.â
âWhat.â
âThey thought I was joking when I said weâre dating and nothing is changing their minds.â
He stared at you, thinking and weighing the consequences before shrugging, leaning down and giving you the first of many kisses that night.
The next day, your transponder was going off with messages from your friends.
âOh my god.â
âThereâs no way heâs actually ur bf.â
You snickered as you typed your response.
âYes, he is. We just woke up, actually.â
âNo fucking way. Give us proof. Now.â
With a giggle, you leaned back and took a picture of Sam burying his face into your neck with a mumble. You pet a hand against his head, sending the image. He looked at you with a soft, confused expression. You rubbed a hand against his chest, snuggling into him. âThey still didnât believe me so I send them a picture of us.â
He hummed, wrapping his arms around you once more and hugging you close.
âMmm⌠whatever makes you happy, lovebird.â

3rd Person POV:
The Warden looked down at his hand. A mysterious red string attached to his index finger and stretched down the hall to the portal.
Impossible, He thought. How did someone slip this on my finger? I don't even sleep. Someone had to have used an invisibility potion.
He carefully followed the string, looking out for any set traps. Stopping at the portal, he noticed that the string disappeared through the portal. He couldn't leave. Not with Dream still here and Techno on the loose.
"I'll just have to cut it," He muttered to himself, looking for a pair of shears in chest. He tried his best to cut the fabric, but even using all of his strength he couldn't get it to cut. Frustrated, he slammed the shears onto the ground and the bell sounded. "Almost forgot the room check."
He made his way through the prison and waited for the lava to fall. The string still followed him. Desperate, he tried to tug on the string and bunch it up in his hand. Nothing. He sighed and walked with the platform to Dream.
In his cell, Dream stood up and waited patiently for his delivery. Best time of day, lunch hour.
"Well, well, well," Dream teased. "Someone's a few minutes late to feeding time. You know... you had me worried for a second. Had me thinking that you were gonna skip today."
"I still have some human decency," Sam huffed. "Unlike you. Now take your food and shut up."
Dream reached for the potatoes, but his hand touched something else. The string, "I-I thought that this was a myth! I can't believe it!"
"The string?" Sam questioned. "It appeared today. Someone snuck in and tied it to me without me noticing. I swear to god if this was one of you and Techno's plan to break you out, I will have your head at my feet."
Dream shook his head, "No not at all! Go look in the library. Legend says that you receive a red string connected to your soulmate once they join the server. Everyone thought it was a myth because no one ever got one, but look! Who's recently come to the Greater SMP?"
Sam waved Dream away, "This is one of your plans isn't it? You're trying to send me on some wild goose chase that way I would leave and Technoblade could sneak in. Do you really think I'm that stupid?"
Dream chuckled, "I do. Your soulmate is somewhere in this world and you are ignoring them. They're probably trying so hard to find you, but the string will only lead you two to each other if you're both searching."
"Cut that out! I'm not leaving the prison, not until I have Technoblade back and both of you in this cell. I'm leaving."
Your POV:
You looked around the grassy area, there was no one in sight, except a few buildings a while away. The string was going that way, that must be where you were meant to go.
You followed the string until it led you into some civilization. It was confusing to say the least. Some buildings were really nice, others...just blown up.
"Hello?" You called out. "Is anyone here?"
A blonde man approached you, "Who are you? Who sent you?"
"I-I don't know. I was talking with this Witch. I told her I was lonely and wanted my partner. They enchanted a book, threw it into a portal and told me to go through. So... here I am? Look! I have this red string to prove it!" You babbled.
The man huffed, "Who are you? I will fight you, unless you have something to offer... a payment of some sort."
"I'm y/n. And no, I don't have a payment. But please can you help me find where this string leads to?"
He shook his head, "Have anything to offer?"
You dug into your pocket, "Enderpearls?"
He nodded, holding out his hand, "They have trade value, I'll take them. I'm Punz, by the way. Iâm the leader here.â
âThank you, Punz. Do you have a red string too?â You asked.
âNo I donât,â He replied. âI donât think anyone here does. I really think you got scammed.â
You shook your head, âI refuse to believe that. Thatâs nonsense. My soulmate is here.â
You and Punz followed the string until the sun started to set. Somehow you ended up in the same spot you were before.Â
âIt doesn't make sense! How is it a circle if we never found the end?â You yelled out in frustration.
Punz shrugged, âI don't know. Iâm telling you itâs some hoax. We don't have the place mob proofed... we used to but there were a couple fights that got rid of the torches. I would go to Eretâs Castle and see if he has a spare room. Heâs always looking to build better relationships.â
Eret was happy to let you stay the night and offered you to use one of his saddles to tame a horse to cover more ground. The chances are that your soulmate is a part of a different faction. Maybe Snowchester or Kinko Kingdom? You werenât sure, but you were forced to go look for other people.
You met tons of people. You wrote down the names and continued on. You ended back in the Greater SMP. You found Punz and showed him the list.
âThe only people not on that list would be the Syndicate, but no one knows where they are and whoâs even in it. If itâs one of them, well good luck finding them...â He trailed off and looked in the distance. â...have you tried the prison yet?â
âT-The prison?â You stuttered out. âDo you really think that my soulmate is a criminal?â
He shrugged, âThat sounds like a you issue. Warden Sam, Dream, and Technoblade never leave that place.â
You sighed, âDoesn't hurt to try. Thank you, Punz.â You pulled a gold bar out of your pocket and offered it to him, âIt isn't much, but I found it around Las Nevadas.â
âAny gold is good gold. Thank you, y/n. Tell Sam that I sent you. He has a thing with letting people in the prison that he doesnât know.â
You nodded, âThat way?â
âStraight shot.â
The walk there wasnât too bad. The grass was longer, you could tell that people don't tread around here often. You walked up to the opening. There was a portal in front of you.Â
âWell, if Punz says itâs okay...â You walked through. Once transported, you looked down at your hand. The string still led back to the portal. There was nothing except for nether blocks here anyways. You stepped through again, now in an all white room.Â
âHello?â You called. âAnyone running this place? Warden Sam?â
A man in full gear appeared out of nowhere, sword in his hand, âWho are yo- know what? I donât care. You're not coming in. I made it clear that we are not taking visitors. I thought everyone on the server knew.â
You held your hands up, âI got here yesterday! I swear!â You held up your finger and explained your situation.
âGod damn it Dream!â He yelled. âHe really manipulated you like that, huh? Got you in on his and Technoâs plan to escape. This is stupid. Utterly stupid. I canât believe that you are such fools to think that I would play into this. Iâm not. Iâm going back to Dream. Leave now!â
âWait!â You called after him. âYou have a string too! When did it appear?â
He huffed, âDoesn't matter. Whatever you say is irrelevant. They donât even connect. This is some sort of sick joke.â
You dipped your head down, âDream, this Dream guy... does he have a string? Punz told me that he resides here.â
The man turned, âPunz? How did Punz get in on this? He doesnât even have that great of a relationship with Dream. Or are you making that up too?â
You panicked, âIâm not! I swear! I havenât told a single lie yet! Let me in, please. I just want to find my soulmate. So what if heâs a criminal? I only get one soulmate.â
âNo one in, no one out,â He told you sternly.Â
You sat on the ground in protest, âIâm not leaving until I know that my soulmate isn't here. Iâve come this far already.â You tossed the book at him, âAll of these people don't have a string. You do though, why donât you explain that huh? Have you gone looking?â
He stared back at you, âNo. I canât leave this prison with Technoblade gone. Youâre a threat yourself. Youâre a part of the Syndicate arenât you?â
You said nothing back to him. You sat in silence, completely defeated, âWarden... do you believe in soulmates?â
âPeople on this server get married to say theyâre married. âLoveâ doesn't exist here. Everyone has a niche, mine is to stay in this prison and make sure that bad people stay put.â
You leaned against the cold tile wall, âYou're lonely arenât you? Your only interactions being with criminals and having to hold your guard up 24/7? When was the last time you let your character show...do you even know what your character is?â
He crossed his arms and looked away, âI thought I told you to leave.â
âI told you I need to see Dream and Technoblade.â
âTechnoblade escaped! You know damn well he did too!â He snapped. âDrop this pathetic act of being clueless and âthe new girlâ. You've been here for a while. You put this string on me didnât you? You and those criminals-â
âJust stop!â You yelled. âIâve had enough of this! If I was playing into whatever plan you think Iâm a part of, wouldn't our strings be connected?â
He stared back down at his string, âWhy aren't they connected? It doesnât make sense. Dream was just saying nonsense that way he would get away from me and buy Technoblade more time.â
You pushed against the wall and slowly took his hand, rubbing your fingers against the tips of his stringed-hand, âIf Dream doesnât have a string...then weâre the only two people to have strings.â
âMy character, why did you ask about my character?â He questioned.
You shrugged, âI just had a feeling. If you really don't leave this place, how do you develop? How do you know who you are? Everyone deserves to know who they are.â
âIâve left Dream alone for too long, Iâm leaving. You should too.â
You sighed defeated and watched him walk away. You felt useless; you just wasted all of this time, all those payments trying to find your soulmate, just to find out love doesn't exist where your soulmate lives.
You started to walk away. You stopped when you felt a resistance on the string, tugging you back. Thatâs weird. It hasnât tensed up before. You turned around, the Warden looking back at you in shock. Confused, you looked down and your string and followed it with your eyes... leading back to him.
âT-This canât be!â He exclaimed. âThis was supposed to be some myth! You! Were you just thinking about finding your soulmate?â
You nodded, âThatâs all Iâve been thinking about.â
He speed-walked over to you, forcing your hands in his. He held up your finger to his, a perfect match. No tangles, no lies. You finally did it-you found your soulmate.
âFor a split second,â He started. âI thought âmaybe she actually is my soulmateâ and then that tug. You felt the tug too, right?âÂ
You nodded, âIâve never felt it before.â
He pressed his forehead against yours, âYou werenât lying, were you? All that you told me is true?âÂ
âI told you I wasnât lying. Do you believe me now?â
âI do,â He cupped your cheek in his hand. âI really hope you like staying in one place for a while, I really can't leave here.â
You placed your arms around his neck, âI wasnât planning on leaving anyways.â
You felt him smile, âIâm Sam, by the way.â
âI figured,â You replied. âMr. Warden.â
He chuckled, âIâm sorry for being so hostile. Itâs just such bad timing right now and-â
You cut him off by pressing your lips against him. He stepped back in shock, but quickly recovered and leaned into you, melting into the kiss. You could tell by his passion that he hasn't had any positive interactions in a while.Â
You pulled away, âYou donât have to take on this loss alone, let me help you. Show me around.â
He shook his head, âHow can I trust you? I don't even know you.â
You cheekily smiled and took his hands, taking a step back so that he could see them. The string was now gone, âWeâve finally found each other.â

Sam limped his way into the house that night, way later than he would normally be home, covered in blood and scraped up to hell and back. You sat lazily on the couch, not catching sight of his condition until he walked further into the house.
You yawned out a greeting, âHey, Sam, wh- Holy shit, what happened?â Your attention was completely ripped from the show you were watching as you took in Samâs disheveled appearance.
He only shrugged, as if it was nothing to worry about, âJust a bit of trouble at the prison today.â His nonchalant tone was contradicted by the way he had to lean on the wall to walk. You gasped as he practically fell into it, the way his eyes squinted a clear giveaway that he was in pain. You quickly made your way towards him, helping him remove his armor and guiding him to sit down on the floor. Some pretty big scratches and gashes littered the shiny surface of the armor and you made a mental note to get it mended in the morning.
He mumbled, âIâll be fine, you donât have to fuss over me,â even as he was sliding onto the floor while you pushed his armor to the side.
You stood, put your hands on your hips and shook your head, âIf I donât then who will? Youâre hurt, let me help.â
Sam let out a quiet chuckle, leaning his head against the wall. âAlright, alright.â
You excused yourself for a minute to go grab supplies: gauze, bandages, rubbing alcohol, a wash cloth that you dabbed a bit of water on- whatever you could find. You werenât too sure of what you needed, but it was good to be prepared, right?
When you returned, you put everything in your arms down on the floor next to him, and then knelt down in front of him, in between his stretched out legs.
âIs it okay if I take this off?â You reached up, lightly tapping his gas mask. It was dirty, youâd have to clean it for him later, and his face had some dried blood stuck to it that youâd have to clean off. He nodded slowly, tiredly, letting you reach out behind his head and pull off the mask. Now with a full look of his face, you could tell he was truly exhausted. You placed your hand on his cheek, heart swelling at the way he closed his eyes and leaned into it.
âIâll try to be quick, okay?â You promised. He silently nodded, watching as you leaned over his leg to grab the wet cloth, deciding to start with his face by cleaning up some smaller cuts and wiping away the blood. He kept his eyes closed, relaxing himself under your touch.
You trailed down to his neck, dabbing a bit of the alcohol onto the cloth to clean the larger cuts that ran to his chest. He tried his best to hold back a wince at the sudden sting, but you obviously noticed, being so close. You stopped for a second and apologized, giving him a few seconds before continuing.
âYouâre um.. Gonna have to take off your shirtâŚâ Your voice trailed off. You really didnât want to make it awkward, itâs not like youâve never seen him shirtless, but that was usually in more ideal scenarios.
Sam, who would have usually teased you for the nervousness in your voice, pulled his undershirt off with no hassle. He tossed it to the side, leaning his back against the wall again with a thump. The shirt was covered in a deep red and you were unsure if youâd be able to get it out of the white material.Â
You had turned away to pour a bit more alcohol onto the cloth, but when you turned back you almost gasped. A large gash covered his chest, not too deep, but definitely explained why there was so much blood. You were also fairly certain it would leave a pretty nasty scar.
âWhat the hell happenedâŚâ You whispered to yourself mostly, just in complete shock. And he was going to try to tell you that he was fine and not to worry? You could have just chided him right there about it, but you figured youâd save it for later. Heâs had enough for one day.
âThis is going to sting⌠a lot. Just be prepared, okay?â You warned him beforehand, waiting for him to acknowledge that he was okay with you continuing. He gave you a nod after a few seconds, so you took a breath and pressed the cloth to the cut.
Immediately, he hissed in pain. In fact, the whole time you cleaned the wound, he quietly hissed. You usually enjoyed the sound, heâd hiss when he was really excited, or happy, or even calm⌠but hearing the noise when heâs in pain made your heart hurt. You started to move a bit quicker, not wanting to be sloppy but also not wanting to see or hear him in pain any longer.
âHard partâs almost over,â you commented halfway through. Then you added, lightheartedly, âDonât blow up on me, now.â You were hoping to at least get him to smile, wanting him to relax despite the situation.Â
Luckily, it worked, and he chuckles quietly, cracking you a smile as you finish up. You smile back, happy that your little joke did its job.
You grabbed the bandages and began wrapping his torso, following instructions on your phone. You werenât too good at this, sadly, but there was a lack of medical practitioners in this place. Regardless, you felt like you did pretty good when it was all done. Not too loose, or too tight, at least, he wasnât complaining about it.
You worked for a few more minutes, cleaning up a bit more blood and disinfecting some other cuts. Every now and then, heâd let out a hiss of pain, and youâd pause and apologize, promising that you were almost done.
And when you were finally finished, Sam engulfed you in a big hug, thanking you multiple times while you gingerly put your arms around his neck.
âWhat would I do without you, hm?â
You giggled, âHonestly, I donât really know.âÂ
You backed out of his grasp to reach up to press a kiss to his jaw. He smiled, eyes closing as he reveled in the feeling of your soft lips on him. He turned his head to you soon after, pressing his lips to yours in a proper âthank youâ kiss. When it ended, you hugged him again, once again trying to not disturb his wounds or move the freshly wrapped bandages, and he held you, too, placing his chin atop your head.
After a few moments of relaxing in each otherâs hold, you say, âAlright, letâs get you to bed.â You go to move to stand, but he keeps you in his strong hold for just a bit longer. You continue anyway, a loving smile on your face, âCan you walk, big guy?â
He mumbles against your hair, âIâll manage.â
You move back on your knees, moving away to give him room to get up. He put a hand against the wall to help himself stand, but when he stepped forward he still limped horribly. You tsked, taking his hand and slowly walked with him to the couch. He laid down, having no complaints about not having to use the stairs.Â
You gently rubbed his knee, telling him youâd be right back with some pillows and blankets. You grabbed as many as you could carry down the stairs without tripping, wanting to make the less-than-comfortable couch a bit easier to sleep on for the night.
By the time you got back, though, Sam was already out cold. You smiled warmly at him as you draped a blanket over him, holding back a giggle as he mumbled some silly nonsense in his sleep.

Sam was such a gentle and sweet man. He never raise a hand to you, and treated the ground you walked on like it was blessed by the gods.
He was such a gentle partner, too, especially with him being 7â4â and a hybrid of one of the scariest mobs in the land. Being with him for as long as you had been, you learned to differentiate his different hisses. Lower, more guttural hisses were intimidating and full of anger, while higher, more airy hisses were happy and living.
He would hold you as carefully as he could during the nighttime, as if the wrong touch would cause you to disappear into the night. Sam treated you as if you were tempered glass and any wronged breath would destroy your beauty. You were his beauty, and he was your beast.
Recently, though, you longed for you beast immensely. With Dream in the prison, making open-mouthed threats about using his favor with Technoblade, or jumping into the lava or bashing his skull against the obsidian walls, Sam had to stay overtime just to make sure the prisoner didnât do what he claimed. It was draining for the both of you â for your relationship! â and it was wearing you down physically and mentally.
The front door clicked shut, sparking your attention. You sat up, calling out the only name you could logically think. âSammy?â Silence followed, causing worry to bubble inside of you. You scrambled out of bed, peeking around every corner just as he had taught you. It was silent asides the soft pitter-patter of your cat, Azalea, who you sore was attached at Sams hip.
âSam?â
With another cautious call, you made your way down the staircase. Your heart pounded loudly in your chest to the point where you were convinced whoever was in the house could hear it. Azaleas white face popped into your line of sight, mewling softly as she strutted away. She let out a noise that only came to be when your lover was around.
Peering around the corner, you let out a breath that youâd been holding in as you watched Sam stare at the cat heâd loved for so long as if it was a stray that came up to him, begging for food.
A frown detailed your cheeks as you walked up to him, reaching a hand out to place on his shoulder. He felt⌠cold. The creeper-hybrid stared at your hand with a blank face before brushing it off, removing his mask. He set it on the table before continuing to do whatever he was doing.
You frowned, trying to catch his attention and have at least a brief conversation with him. You hadnât seen him in your home for the past few weeks, and even when you did he would ignore you or act like you werenât his lover.
âSam, please, talk to me. Please, I miss you so much, itâs been so long since youâve last been home! Sit down with Azalea and I, letâs watch a movie, or read a book, or talk, or whatever! Anything! Iâll even listen to you explain how you set up the redstone, just anything!â
You cried out, arms wide and expressive as you tried to convince him to show you he still cared.
âPlease, Sammy, I- I havenât even heard you say hello to me in months! You havenât said I love you within the past two months. Do you, Sam? Do you love me still?â
You yelled, tears beginning to race down your cheeks. Sam just stood there with an expressionless face. The only thing ht reminded you of in this moment was that of an iron golem, but even they had more emotion then Sam did. He seemed so⌠empty, like the Sam youâd grown to love had been ripped out and just replaced.
âPleaseâŚâ You sobbed, dropping to your knees as you clenched at your chest. âPlease⌠just say somethingâŚâ Your heart ached for your lover, to hear him give you validation that he cared for you.
âIâŚâ
Your head shot up, eyes wide and puffy. He stared down at you, shuffling backwards awkwardly. Sams ears twitched, mouth gaping open as he tried to explain himself. He stuttered, one of his hands coming through his hair as if trying to make sure that he was still himself.
âY/n- please, let me- let me explain, please- lovebird-â
âNo, youâve had time to explain, Sam! So much time! This- this is your last chance! Iâm sorry Sam, butâŚâ
Your chest heaved, Sam now getting a chance to see how much his actions had affected you. You were tired, your eyes were drained and your skin had paled form its normal complexion. His heart hurt; he did this to you. The hybrid stared as you stood up, dusting off your knees as you sniffled. âHey, Sam?â
He let out a noise you couldnât distinguish or name, as if he was trying to convince you to stay with him. To stay and help him make your relationship work.
âTake care of Azalea for me.â You gave him a somber smile, one that was obviously forced but meant genuinely. âI love you, Awesamdude. Keep yourself alive â who knows, maybe one day we can make us work.â
Sam watched as you walked out of the home heâd built for the two of you. You didnât take anything, either â no clothes, no bags, no memoirs, nothing. You just slipped on your shoes and walked out, waving goodbye to Sams loving cat.
He fell to his knees, arms dropping to his sides. The stories were true.
The beast always drives away the beauty right when timeâs up.

After the abolishment of the prison, Sam felt lost.
Dream and Technoâs escape left everyone feeling weary. Unsure if Sam was a good fit to run the prison and unsure if it will ever be able to serve a purpose again, the citizens were the ones who ultimately got the place shut down.
And of course, someone had to go the extra mile and blow it up.
Sam watched from the sidelines as the prison was demolished. There was nothing he could do to stop it, no one saw him as an authority anymore.
All the time he dedicated to building and running it⌠All the nights he spent perfecting the mechanisms and security⌠It all amounted to nothing. He failed. The two evils escaped and all of his hard work was destroyed.
It was no wonder that he started to close himself off to you. Heâd eat less, sleep less, talk less, and just generally be around others less. He often did that when something upset him, you were used to it. Youâd help as much as you could; bring him dinner, remind him to sleep, keep him company when you could tell he needed it, but for the most part you let him figure himself out and, when he was ready, heâd come talk to you on his own.
The only thing is that the last time it was this bad⌠Tommyâs death was unexpected, thereâs nothing he could have done. It took him weeks to be able to recover and do his job normally again, and even more time for him to talk about it with you. You figured he needed space, time to think, figure out where to go next and where to keep going in the future.
He was a workaholic, dedicating all of his time to the operation of the prison. Now with it gone, and with his bank in jeopardy from the distrust of the citizens, you knew you werenât going to see him for a while.
The first time he went to you for comfort gave you hope that everything was going to be okay. You were sitting on the couch and watching a mildly interesting cooking show, hoping that it could take your mind off of things.
He came out of his room for the first time in a few days, alerting you to his presence with his heavy footsteps. Your attention was immediately on him, the television becoming nothing more than background noise.
âHey.â You spoke softly, mostly out of surprise to see him, but also worry. âYou hungry?â
Sam shook his head gently and, without any words, sat next to you on the couch. Within seconds, his arms were around you and then yours around him, quickly understanding what he needed.
âIâm here.â You whispered to him, giving him a kiss on the forehead, âIâll always be here for you, okay?â
Sam nodded into your shoulder and held you tighter. You ignored how he started crying, knowing that drawing attention to it wouldnât make him feel any better.
âI just missed you,â he spoke softly into your neck, âIâm sorry for bothering you so late.â
âItâs two in the afternoon,â you pointed out with a concerned look, quick to dismiss it, âbut that doesn't matter- you could never bother me. I missed you, too.â
Sam hummed and you could tell he wanted to protest, but was stopped at the sound of his stomach growling.
âCome on,â you started as you stood up, taking his hand in yours. âLetâs go eat something.â He stood up when you did without much complaint, silently following you to the kitchen.Â
You hoped that this would be a turning point. Heâd talk to you about his troubles soon and the two of you could go back to something more normal. After that, though, you didnât see him for three days.
You continued with your normal daily tasks and went back to your minimal interaction with Sam. It only started to worry you more, but you knew there wasnât much you could do if he wasnât willing to talk to you.
When you finally saw him again, you felt that hope bubble up again. You asked him if he needed anything, but his response made the hopeful bubbles pop.
âWe need to talk aboutâŚâ He paused, but then cleared his throat, âAbout us.â He looked so serious, it scared you.
âOkay, y-yeahâŚâ You stood up, your arms crossed almost defensively. What does he mean âabout us?â Did you do something wrong? âWhatâs up?â
There was a long pause. You could see his hands start to ball into fists at his side, clenching and unclenching with his nerves.
After a minute, he finally stated, âWe canât be together anymore.â
He sounded cold. Distant. Detached. You put a hand over your mouth as tears started to form in your eyes, his words settling on you like a bag of rocks.Â
âW-why?â You managed to choke out between heavy breaths and sobs.
He took a breath, as if he wasnât ready to answer that question. He kept his face stoic, emotions hidden behind a crumbling wall.
âI canât be here anymore⌠I need to leave andâŚâ He looked you in the eyes at that moment, making him hesitant. He glanced away, but still tried to keep that detached look on his face. It was working too well, all the while not working at all. He looked conflicted.Â
âI need to leave and figure myself out. Alone.â His voice was gruff and low. He made it a point to continue to not look you in the eyes.
Sam stood to his full height, ready to walk out knowing that he had hurt you. It was the first time you felt intimidated by him, and you knew he could tell.
You took a shaky breath and, before you could lose him more, said, âWait.â
He stopped, giving you his full attention, and finally looking you in the eye. You searched his lovely green eyes. They conveyed so much more emotion than he was letting on. It was most likely unintentional, but you could see how torn and upset he truly was behind those irises. It gave you hope.
âCan youâŚâ you swallowed and closed your eyes as you spoke, âCan you kiss me? Just one last time, thatâs all I ask.â
You heard another sigh, this one more broken than the last. You slowly opened your eyes to see Sam getting down on one knee to match your height.
âJust⌠once, okay?â You nodded in response with a weak smile, making your way to him slowly.
You placed your hands on his shoulders and wondered if that was too intimate now. To your surprise, though, he gently placed his hands on your waist. You took a short breath, closed your eyes, and then leaned in, pressing your lips against his for what will be the last time.
In a way, it felt like your first kiss. Soft, slow, warm, and a little awkward.Â
You realized the two of you hadnât shared a genuine kiss in weeks. The thought made tears form up in your closed eyes, threatening to slide past your eyelashes. You tried your best to hold them in, not wanting to disturb the moment.
Sam was pretty stiff the whole time, but he still kissed you back with the same gentleness he always did. You couldnât tell if it was a show or if he still cared, even though he was leaving.Â
You pulled away once it started to feel like too long, but then he brought you back in almost instantly. You were surprised, but didnât fight it. You didnât want to say goodbye, either.
One kiss turned to two, and two to three, before he eventually pulled away. Tears flowed down both your faces now and all you could think about was how this is the last time youâll see him.
âI donât want to be sad. Iâll miss you, but I want to remember the happy times.â
Sam nodded and wiped at his eyes, âI know, me too.â
âIâll see you soon, okay? Stay safe.â
He pressed another kiss to your forehead, lingering only for a moment. âYou too. I donât know if Iâll be backâŚâ He trailed off, not wanting to promise heâll see you again.
âI know,â you wiped at your eyes, âItâs just easier to say see you later than goodbye.â
Sam agreed, giving you a second to compose yourself before pulling you into a hug, âIâll see you later, then.â
You nodded into his shoulder, holding him tighter than you ever have before.Â
Sam stayed with you until you fell asleep that night, leaving sometime around midnight. He pressed a kiss to your forehead, whispering the words he wished he said more often.
