For NYE, Matt and I spent it with the Riot Squad. We went to a warehouse rave but ikt was so hot in there many people in the group left early while Matt and i came much latger. When we got there , there were only a handful people there. We stayed there till at leasst 10pm. After that, we head to Frank’s place where he hosted a mini party with drinks. Frank’s room became a dance room. That was how we ended 2022.

What a year! 2022 was so challenging on so many levels. To sum up some of the highlights: The year started with the corona pandemic and many countries were still in lockdown. Our own festival "Hagelant Fest" had to be cancelled due to these restrictions. In March we finally managed to hit the road again with a European tour that got postponed for 2 years in a row due to this pandemic. However, slowly after that things around the pandemic started to clear up and we finally were able to attend our beloved summer festivals with our merchstand and meet all our fans and supporters once again. And not to forget that this year the prices of almost everything (vinyl & textile productions, shipping prices, gasoline, energy, import) went skyrocketing and this left a huge mark upon our online market which led to losing some major sales throughout the whole year. Besides all of that, we've managed to strike a couple of new distribution deals, signed a few new bands to our roster and have released 8 amazing albums under our name. In the meantime we've been preparing a great deal for what has to come in 2023, such as the release of 12th Azaghal album and another European Tour on which they'll be presenting that new record along side Corpus Christii, Liber Null and Sidious. All in all, 2022 was stressful but fruitful and I would like to express my gratitude to: - All our signed bands for the trust they place in me. - All my distributors for the flawless partnerships. - All the festivals, organisors and venues for the years and years of cooperation. - My girlfriend (Inge) for helping me behind the scenes with technical stuff and the merchstand at the festivals. - My graphical designer (WrathDesign) for his undying loyalty and amazing work. - My assistant (Danny) for helping me with the merchstand at the festivals. - And at last, all of you!
