We truly want to thank everyone who attended and voiced their support for the Butte Non-Discrimination Ordinance. The commissioners are encouraging individuals to continue to voice their support online by emailing the county commissioners and through voicing your opinion through their online open forums.  The county commissioners will be making a final decision on Wednesday, January 29th. We encourage everyone to voice their support online and to attend this upcoming meeting to show your support.

Join the Gender Expansion Project on January 15th at 7:30pm in Butte, Montana when the Butte City Council votes on a non-discrimination ordinance that would provide protections on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. The City Council wants to the public to weigh in on this important ordinance. This is a great opportunity to get your voice out there in the fight for equality. Butte PFLAG will be having a rally at the steps of the courthouse at 6:30pm in support of the ordinance. #ButteEquality

We had previously posted that the ordinance was scheduled for January 8th, however, we were recently informed that it has been changed to the 15th. The meeting will be held in the Butte Silver Bow City Council Chambers. We invite everyone to come and get their voice out there for equality.
