Some holiday/Christmas headcanons!! 🎄
- Shuichi especially loves wearing scarves and sweaters around this time of year!! He’s always outside and about, so he’s going to be cold quite a lot of the time... so! He likes to bundle up!
- And when he’s at home relaxing, he still likes to wear a warm sweater and enjoy a nice drink while reading. He likes hot chocolate anytime, but likes to drink it more often during winter. Caramel, gingerbread, and peppermint hot chocolate are some of his favorite kinds.
- Whether by himself or with others, Shuichi likes to build a gingerbread house! Usually he would use a kit, but if he’s got the time, he’ll try doing one from scratch. And then after he’s done, he likes to munch on the ‘discarded’ pieces of gingerbread he couldn’t use on the house.
- He loves to visit Christmas markets!! Even if he’s just walking around looking at the different items for the most part, Shuichi still has a lot of fun... and if he sees anything his aunt or uncle might like, he’ll buy it for them! He also loves to buy a holiday mug to keep, whenever he orders a hot drink.
- When this time of year approaches, Shuichi likes to save up the money he earns from cases, so he can go Christmas shopping! He loves to spoil his friends and family like that, as he loves giving presents probably even more than receiving them, honestly.
Bonus Seii-chan ones!
- His idea of normally spending Christmas Eve or Day nights is chilling in his room, munching on fried chicken and probably wearing some DR-themed Christmas sweater or santa hat because of course he would have something like that, and staying up late replaying some DR1, cause Junko Birthday....
- He does spend New Year’s Eve with his aunt and uncle, though! In fact, they make sure he spends it with them, because they know his parents aren’t going to want to, nor would Seiichi want to spend it with them at all, anyway. So during that week of New Year’s Eve and Day, Seiichi stays over their house with them.

On more of an angst note, if the storyline with Sander is going where it most likely is isn't there something about bipolar running in families? The amount of distress Eliott would feel when he found out about his little brother also having to deal with it but it would also add to such understanding of each other.
I know you warned me about the angst with the first sentence, but it still broke my heart reading the rest of it 😞🥺
Eliott would totally hate it for Sander to have to deal with it too. But yes it would make them grow closer, because now they would have someone to talk to who really gets it. But Eliott would also be so happy for his baby bro to see that (at the end of the season) he has found someone who’s gonna be there for him in a way that Lucas is there for Eliott, not because they have to be, but because they want to be.
