while this song is about a break up , i honestly see it differently . the way i see it , it's about when she lost her father . she got stuck on that , while everyone in fontaine just . . . moved on . it was the talk of the week , and then they just went on and focused on another big case that happened . meanwhile , she was left in pieces ; inside a fantasy where her father was still there , and everything was right and . . . normal . as it should have been . truthfully , that was her for a while after his death ; only silver and melus to try and help her move on .
