हरियाणा रोडवेज कर्मियों की हड़ताल का अाज तीसरा दिन है। जहां यात्रियों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। वहीं सिरसा में पुलिस कर्मियों ने बसों की कमान संभाली है, जहां रोडवेज प्रशासन पुलिस के पहरे में कुछ बसें चला रहा है। पुलिसकर्मियों द्वारा ये बसें लोकल रूट पर ही चलाई जा रही है।

But a conclusion to the bus strike has finally been reached. IOL report that the strike, which lasted four weeks, is set to end. Services will resume as early as Tuesday morning for some operators. Last Tuesday, the labour caucus came up with a counter-offer to finally bring an end to the strike. Bus strike update, 14 May: Agreement reached The unions asked for a 9% increase in the first year and 8% in the second year as opposed to the 8.75% increase for the first year and 8.25% for the second year, which was put forward by employers. South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu)’s Zanele Sabela: “We came up with a counter offer of 9% in the first year and 8% in the second year. We’ve already sent it to the bargaining council and they will send it to the employers to see if they agree.” Transport Omnibus Workers Union (TOWU) spokesperson, Tony Franks confirmed that an agreement has been signed by all parties: “The strike has been called off and now we are communicating it to all members.” What terms have bus drivers, employers agreed to? A new offer was presented to the unions on Thursday. Employers agreed to an increase of 9% in the first year and 8% in the second year.
