[SPOILERS FOR CHI AND SERIK’S STORY BELOW!]

[YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!]

* After firing the World Defuser, Chi was reduced to nothing more than a Thought; this is the bare essence of one’s being... their soul, in layman’s terms. *

* Serik was reduced to the divine force he’d been in the past; the shockwave had caused him to lose his form, but not his life. *

* As Chi’s Thought floated in the blue void, a second portal appeared from within. A winged figure was on the other side, and she leapt out, snatched Chi’s Thought, and disappeared back into the portal. *

* Concerned for the fate of her friend, Ivy travelled to Reflection Lake, a secret area that could be reached if you strayed too far off of one of the playground’s roads. There--with her friends Clover, Burningstone and Fire Sparklemist--Ivy was able to make contact with the winged figure and ask what was going on. *

 * The winged figure explained that Chi was not only alive, but perfectly fine; she’d just need some time to recover. Upon being asked how she knew this, or her identity, she gave no answer--only the name Thoughtmaker. *

* Without another word after that, she’d closed the portal. *

* A month passed, and not much happened for Ivy and her friends... until one day, out of the blue, a comet streaked down into the playground, and to her surprise, Chi had returned to Ivy’s dimension... but something was different. *

* Specifically, she was different. *

* She’d left a little too early from wherever Thoughtmaker had taken her, and lost most of her tail in the process. But otherwise, she seemed to be just fine. *

* When Ivy (immediately) asked what happened, Chi explained that she could travel from here to “the island” as she pleased, and from “the island” she could visit the five worlds she’d formerly watched over. “The island” was a nice place to her. *

* Ivy introduced her to Clover and Burningstone, Chi formally introduced herself to them in turn, everyone was properly on the same page, and everything seemed to end quite nicely. *
