Elderkit! (suffix pending)

He's the kit Larchscreech mistreats (for no reason other than he's curious what would happen if he treated one kit amazingly and the other horribly).

Unlike his brother, Elder is very timid. He's either very weak or just doubts his abilities after growing up always being told that he is weak (or both). He thinks of himself very negatively. The long parts of his fur are matts as a result of his health being neglected.

Due to Burdockkit believing he's great and Elderkit believing he's horrible, a lot of Elder's scars likely come from his brother beating him up while Elderkit let him as well as him not being protected as a youngster and getting into trouble.

He has vitiligo spotting from his father and grandmother that run down his spine (Burdock might have it too, but with him being mostly white, it's hard to tell). Also his eyes have a pink tint from Bloodlamb, who got them from her grandma, Rosefrost!

@elementaldeityoffood I wonder how his friendship with one of Oakstep's kits starts, since Elderkit doesn't think he deserves any friends or good things

He's the kit that's treated well. Larchscreech is gentle with him, but he (purposefully) makes Burdock believe that he's better than everyone else and that HE is very important, and that makes him arrogant and prone to getting into fights.

His mom is Bloodlamb (reason for leaving him and Elderkit here). I wanted him to look like his mom because Blood has a lot of guilt later on when she finds out how mistreated Elderkit was, and it breaks her heart to see that her other son who looks so much like her has become a horrible brute.

Bloodlamb. She was mates with Leafcurl, but then Leafcurl was a surrogate for a mlm couple and died during the birth.

Maybe it was an attempt to get herself to move on. She can't have her mate back, she can't even have the only pieces of her mate left because they're someone else's, so she tries to move on from the pain by finding new relationships, but they keep ending because they're just not right.

Then with Larchscreech, she has kits. She doesn't know how to feel. Scared? Happy? But the moment she sees them, she can only think about how they're not Leafcurl's, and it's a reminder of how Leafcurl died and what they never got to experience together, and she can't take it. She can't take seeing them. So, once they can survive without her, she gives them to the father without so much as giving them names, the worst mistake she'll ever make
