The Baloch Haveli moves in a frenzy as workers rush around with decorations. Rehman Baloch barks orders, demanding nothing short of perfection, while Ulfat oversees the flower arrangements with careful attention.
Meanwhile, Naieem floats around like a mere mist amidst the chaos. Party members fuss over the DJ setup as guests begin to arrive, many dressed in a plethora of costumes. Conversations fill the hall until the spotlight finally lands on Ulfat as she gently taps the microphone.
“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and my lovely non-binary people. Today is a day of celebration — a day where we celebrate perhaps mankind’s greatest invention: fun.
This isn’t just another costume party, nor is it simply a gathering for my political campaign. It is a night to have fun, to mingle, to blend in, and to embrace your uniqueness.
Although I do aim to gain support and promote my political party in the upcoming elections, I stand firmly with democracy and strongly criticise acts that go against the very foundation of democracy.
