Right now I'm riding shot gun in a light truck driving from one end of Australia to the other. This means that for the next few days I'll be bouncing around as every bump on the road is transferred though the seat and up into my spine making me look like an excited bobble head. As my brains rattled around and Steph ( @vixpixandbits ) and I discussed the journey ahead, it occurred to me that this journey was almost an alla gory for life. We are headed on a trip, making our way as safely and quickly as we can to our chosen desti action, making sure to stop and check interesting stuff out on the way. But always moving towards our goals. What if we stopped every time we hit a bumpy bit of road, got out, checked the road and patched every pothole ebfore moving forward? Or worse changed directions completely at every bit of rough going? We'd never get where we need to go, and we'd never know how tough our little truck is. It is the same in life. We come up on bumps and rough patches on the road of life all the time. From family issues and financial stress to career pressure, relationship breakdown and illness, there are a miriad of ways for life to not go the way you plan. The question I'd ask you to think on today is, "How do You react to bumps in your life's journey?" Do you stop everything to fix every little issue along the way? Do you blame the road for being g bumpy, when you know being bumpy is a part of the very nature of the road? Do you give up on that direction and decide to take another road, in the vain hope that maybe this road will be smooth? OR Do you adjust for the bumps and keep powering on, not allowing a little problem her and there, distract you from you ultimate goal? Just worth considering.
