I got ‘em via hameeusa on ebay! Looks like they took down the listings for the Hatabou & Iyami face designs, though, and it doesn’t seem like anybody else has ‘em for sale on that site.

and yeah I think luck is a big factor too, I guess. I mean IRL there have been times I’ve gotten attention from people but usually it’s for the wrong reasons, like people I don’t want talking to me trying to reach out. usually gross nerds with no personality whose ears perk the moment I mention i like video games. but like. I would just hope that the people I reach out to don’t see me as a tolerable nuisance like that, to occasionally indulge because I’m only tolerable in moderation???? sighs

So tonight I was at a late show at The Mint and the music was amazing and I was dancing and grooving and having a good time and then halfway through their second set this dude comes up to me and tells me he'd been watching me dance all night and then gave me his phone number on a receipt slip so in my disgruntled state I took it over to my girlfriend and she took the slip of paper and ate it

To answer the burning question, I got that Bee Movie sweatshirt when I was thrifting in Manhattan with my dearest pal bumblingb. We were in that sweet spot below Midtown and above 14th Street where there's tons of thrift stores wealthy people dump expensive clothing into, and we go into one of them and just. There it is. It was fate. The best thing is, the BUY IT ON DVD part seems to indicate that it's a rare promo item, printed for some stupid promo event in NYC that someone in the entertainment industry had to attend and receive it at, before sloughing it off to the thrift stores from their expensive Manhattan apartment. I got it for several dollars B)
