In the last few months I’ve been exploring sister connection and triggers. I’ve been wondering what stops women from truly connecting to one another. I’ve always thought I was really approachable and easy to get along with but here’s some things women have said to me about how I’ve triggered them. ‘I found you very self assured and I was terrified.’ ‘I was like wtf is that slut energy when I met you’ ‘I thought you were queen bee and that made me want to not get too close’ ‘I found you fierce and powerful so I felt triggered’ It was a friend of mine who said that last comment so I sent her this photo ‘Is it the slippers that don’t match that make me fierce and powerful? 😂’. It’s funny, I used to minimise myself and hold back with my humour out of fear of being too much and wanting others to like me. Now I’m discovering the more I’m myself the more women seem to be drawn to my energy.
